question about cpu usage

ok so i am starting up some goldfarming i have a question about is it safe for my laptop


i am currently botting 4 accounts at %40-50 cpu usage and a steady %61 of total ram

is it safe for the laptop to have it running along time like this ?

 

I have my laptop at 100% and 80% ram 24/7 and have never had any problems.

 

If you use Intel, if you use AMD, kiss your cpu goodbye at anything 24/7 after 2-3 weeks.

I use Celeron with 16 GB Ram, with 10 bots (8 rc + 2 sw) I run at 68%-82%.


If your Bios lets you, over clock your processor a bit, might want to put a cooling fan under it so it don't overheat during the day/night however.

 

my bedroom is underground so i just flip it over and it stays pretty cold

Lol compare intel to amd? Funny I have amd and run numerous bots 24-7 watch movies surf the net play other games like cod for over a year and havent had a problem with anything so I think youre smoking crack jack

 

Overclocking your CPU when it's only running at 50% stock is utterly pointless. Just keep it at the stock clock speed and run a few more bots. Especially if you're worried about it overheating. Do NOT overclock your CPU unless you know about cooling; you can do hundreds of dollars of damage to your whole computer. Most laptops shouldn't be overclocked unless you have, at least a cooling mat.

To address your question, OP: You should be fine running your laptop near 100% CPU as long as it is stays on a hard surface and your house isn't overly hot. You shouldn't ever really have it overheating unless it has a faulty fan.

If you are using the NeXus client to bot, here's a tip to reduce CPU: drag the Global Settings bars all the way to the right.
