Question about AFK Mage Splashing

Hi Guys,

Basically I plan on getting 85-94 mage splashing, I was wondering - is there a limit your allowed to AFK for? I mean, if your in combat and you splash every single hit - what's stopping me doing it for 48 hours? Is this allowed or will I get banned for botting? (I already have a minor bot bust ban, so this is the last thing I want to happen!)

Obviously the xp per hour is very low, and I don't actually play RS much so could I leave it running pretty much all the time?

Right, so if I was to use teamviewer, and every 6 hours bank or something - I'd be okay?

 

Has anyone used this method for 18+ hours a day and can confirm I won't get banned?

 

Its not bannable which is why theres tons of debate on it now. the game auto logs you after 6 hours, the matter what you are doing. So even if you're banking or w/e it'll force you offline to which you need to relog.

 

I can re-log, and do it for another 6 hours.. and so on, So I can do this for 18 hours a day for the next week?

 

theoretically you can do it 24 hours a day, as long as you relog every 6 hours.

 

as stated above, you can do it 24 hours 7 days a week if you care to. It's not against the rules and given the recent poll, probably won't be on 07.

 

Thanks dude. I'm just curious because I have seen a few people on forums etc saying they know someone who has been banned for splashing as 'botting'

You can do it, it isn't bannable as "A Friend" said.

Yup you'll just get logged every 6 hours. You also might DC if you are in a crowded area.

 

Just relog every 6 hrs and you'll be fine

 

it's 6 hour time limit before you log out - huge controversy at the moment about it but i support i suppose.

 

How long did that take lol? How much xp is it per hour with Fire Strike?
