Questing bot

just going to throw this out there as me and my friend have been working on it a bit and just wanted to see what the market would think, We are designing a bot that can do quests, We have currently done all f2p quests and a few p2p, Now as we all know there is already bots that exist that do questing, My question is what would a bot that could do ALL quests (with required skills and items already completed) be worth, Or a bot that could do the entire RFD subquest chain including quests for the subquests

Let me know opinions/ideas/value etc. thanks

 

you mean ALL quests? including mm, mm2, and dt? Then I'm sure some people will be willing to pay for that.

Yea i mean the project is always going to be long term plus im sure jamflex will find a way to do an update that means some reworking for us, MM2/DT will be the only issues as the bot would have to click very fast like a player to avoid death etc especially when flicking pray on if u drop off agility crosses in MM2, However if we get the bulk of quests out the way will probs start looking at ways to do high combat orientated quests, Thanks for feedback <3

 

That's gonna be a huge pain in the ass to maintain. Especially with our weekly updates that can possibly make the script unusable. Just take note of that. goodluck again.

 

All risks are in mind atm, Just taking feedback to decide whether we just have the bot do the annoying quest chains like, Priest in peril, nature spirit, in search of the myreqe, in aid of the myreqe, darkness of hallovale etc, But hopefully we can bring something very unique out.

Thanks for ur feedback bud! really is a goliath of a project but i know it will have a great result if we keep investing time into it will post updates/progress reports here once we start moving into more intermediate/hard quests

 

There is a bot that is working on this called stealthquester.

 

Think ive seen it around, Only goes up to mith gloves though if i remember correctly, if not feel free to leave me a message here with its features, I'm not going to try be in competition with anyone my goal is to make a bit of change while providing a bot for one of the most hated things on rs

 

What's the ban rate like on these bots?

 

from my experiences (over 100 f2p accs made) ive never received a ban for a quest bot, I cannot be 100% sure as i usually suicide bot the accs after questing so it could be a delayed questing ban or a skill ban, But i would assume its a skill ban when im suicide botting, the one im working on with my friend will have a huge integrated anti ban along with alot of info about the bot, I would never run any type of bot on a "main" regardless of ban rates but with this one im working on should be fine fresh off tut island as long as you follow basic botting "rules" such as breaks often, don't leave on for loads of hours continuously, mix it up with a bit of human play or skilling etc. thanks for the feedback!

 

What do you mean "fully compatible"?

 

because we are testing it open source, We are using a few clients including a custom one we had built our selves to see which runs smoothest.

 

I would presume low now, but as it becomes more popular it will be easier to detect. The bot I mentioned above is the most expensive premium script right now at $20

 

I can already say our bot will be more pricey then that, But for a low ban rate bot that is aimed to complete at least half the quests in rs atm and gradually aim to have it complete all quests, id say it will be a bargain.

 

If it is flawless and does what you claim, I doubt anyone will oppose your pricing.

 

when me and my partner believe the bot is ready to enter a testing phase to the public ill be selecting a few people to try it free of charge, that way people who will be reading the bot will have reviews from different people and not just another scripter claiming hes made the best thing since sliced bread, As we all know all bots become overused or too detectable our goal is to maintain flawless botting with alot of custom stuff such as trading other accs email notifications of quests complete, QP gained/Achievements such as bgloves etc, it is most definitely a long process, But i'm confident with hard work and a trial and error process of elimination we will have the script running perfect, Not just for those who hate quests but for those people who want to make pures etc but aint got the time to quest them out or zerkers, Eventually it will come to a point where the bot will die out like all bots, Or will become too much to maintain but by then we will hopefully have an updated version or a new bot that can do what V1 can and much more, Really appreciating the feedback guys thanks

 

sounds sickening, I mean, I can only imagine how big of a project this is going to be
