This new boss fight is aimed squarely at mighty combatants with a combat level of at least 120 - higher, if you intend to survive. It's also designed as a solo fight, so no hiding behind your friends as you run screaming from her vicious breath attacks. In the heat of the action you’ll be expected to grasp tactics new to RuneScape, but there are some great rewards for those who do...including the fabled dragon kiteshield, a range of new dragon-orientated gear, and a host of other drops. Dare you scale the heights of one of our greatest challenges yet?

Even if you’re not quite ready to face down the monstrous Queen Black Dragon just yet, there's a brand new dungeon leading down to her lair. It includes training opportunities for a range of combat levels, along with a particularly slimy set of Slayer assignments."

Always glad to see a new boss entering the game. It will interesting to see how it plays out + that new gear sounds pretty awesome.

 

Nice to see a new boss, especially that it must be solo'd. QBD shouldn't be too hard.

They've started making bosses that are made to be solo'd, first Glacors, now QBD. I expect to get a few kills when its released to make bank.

I don't know about you guys, but I am super stoked for the QBD. I need to start stocking up on flasks and gear for the fight.. hopefully I can take her on :laugh:

It usually goes by the time in the BTS. For example, Bonfires should come first theoretically.

I personally thought Bounty Hunter was coming this month :s.

By QBD being solo, does that mean it's going to be single combat or what?
If so I imagine a bunch of QBD's in a room like glacors...

I guess the D kite will be about the same as DFS when it first came up, it will be costly at first but people will nolife and camp QBD and the price will eventually drop, unless it's an easy boss and easy drops too.

 

D-Kite would prob be 50-100m or more! it all the depends on the rarity of the drop and difficulty of the boss. and didnt they also say new dragon gear? wtf lol

 

They said that.. it's probably something like an upgrade to the actual dragon armour, or some kind of ''Wings''.
Maybe A Queen Dragon armour too
That's all I can think of.
