Scammed 440$ by StopSign

hello, i think i am posting in the right forum. buti have been scammed 440$ CAD by StopSign. i was purchasing 2109m RS3 gold from him. we were in game together, ready to exchange, then he logged off and stopped answering my skype.

Also, post proof that he owns the Skype you were talking to (a Sythe PM, a post where he used that Skype). It seems quite likely that you traded an impostor, especially given the price.

 

i have updated screenshots, i couldnt go in enough history on my computer so two had to stay from iphone.

 

Yep, it definitely looks like you've been scammed by an impostor. Someone can always claim to be someone they're not on Skype. If a random guy added you on Skype and claimed to be me, you shouldn't necessarily believe them. You even recognized that you were talking to a skype that the real StopSign has never used. That's why it is best to always request a private message before trading to confirm the other party's identity.

Hopefully, you'll be able to reclaim your loss. Call Paypal and then your bank if that fails and explain that you paid for a service and you did not receive it at all, and that you'd like a full refund and for a restriction placed on the other party's paypal. You can even explain that you have screenshot proof that you did not receive the goods. I'm very sorry for your loss.
