This pardon request is for a ban that was applied 7 years ago.

Reason for ban: Scamming, or rather an attempted exploitation. I was banned for attempting to extort n4n0 for 170m RS gold or $88's worth, who was either an administrator or moderator at the time.

Detail of events: I came across an announcement thread stating: "n4n0's MSN HAS BEEN HACKED! Paying back those who got scammed." I was selfish and thought it would be an easy opportunity to get free gold from a victim. I didn't consider if the n4n0 had actually been hacked or not or what he had lost. I forged screenshots of a trade to create evidence that scam transpired so that I would be able to scam him, even though in reality I never tried buying from him at all. I was stupid at the time so I didn't consider the consequences, only what I might gain.

Repayment of victims: The scam attempt wasn't successful, so I'm not sure there's a repayable amount. If there's something that should be done then I might be happy to oblige.

I read the stickied thread for pardons and the rules for pardons. I haven't submitted any previous pardon requests save for a ban dispute appeal that I posted shortly after the ban in 2011.
A disheartening appeal for ritzbits

I'd like to have my account unbanned so I can re-join the community. I don't intend on doing any trading of any sort so I'd be happy to accept a trade ban in return for being able to return. I don't play RS regularly anymore but I do log in from time to time. I don't recall how much time I spent here exactly but I remember it as one of the main forums related to RS I liked to participate in.

I apologize for being dishonest and creating a false evidence to exploit n4n0 for 170m/$88. It looks like the parties originally involved might not be active on Sythe anymore though. It's really something I regret and I'd like to resolve this 7-year old thing.
