    We're thinking of bringing in mini-ranks -- little badges you get for doing certain things on the site. For example 'community participant' for people who have made more than 10 posts in community general in the past week, or 'referral champion' for anyone who has 10 referrals in the past month.

    Since the spam/gaylord forum is an integral part of the site, I thought you guys should be allowed to come up with your own mini-ranks and what you have to do to achieve them. The ranks are going to be images about the size of a santa hat (i.e. a single element of a fun rank) and when you scroll over them a little ticker-tape or something will pop out telling you what the rank is for. The ranks will appear near where your post count is at the moment.

    Spam Reporter - Have X amount of spam reports submitted in a week or month what ever it may be.

    The rank could be just the triangle part of this [​IMG]

    Edit: You could also do something similar for catching ban evaders which would motivate more people to look for/catch ban evaders.

    I like this, I have seen it on different forums and it really motivated the forum. Just don't be too badge happy and give too many out otherwise they don't have any value anymore.
