    Tech board/forum is slow at best, and pretty dead at worst.

    Screenshot

    Suggesting we restructure the tech board similar to that picture, with technology being the board and then each one of those subsections like "programming" is.

    Pls don't say "wont be used", this is a terrible reason because clearly we need to try new things, if they don't work out, can be changed.

    Other ideas are welcome vs just saying no.

    Also: Look @ the stats on this forum, its approx 10x the size of sythe, if we got 1/10 that tech discussion I bet sythe would be jumping up and down.

    Support.
    However if in the instance of replication to the screenshot, move the subforum on the bottom into the computers and hardware section, move OS forum up, put miscellaneous on bottom. White hat forum, probably best to leave out because someone will just go through linking to antivirus softwares.

    Adding subsections to an already dead forum will just kill activity more. Activity isn't great but I think it is better than before.

    If you give me a couple hours I'll have a graph for you. I've downloaded all the posts in the tech forum and I'm adding them to a database now.

    Do you even understand how different forums have different demographics? Just because one section will be active on one site does not mean it will fit well with the interests of another site's community.

    SuF is right.

    @Bus @Jack

    The technology section was added in September 2011. All the posts from before that were moved. I'm thinking my database is incorrect since it seems I only have half the number of posts I should but I doubt this graph is all that incorrect.

    Looks like there was a immense decline after May 2015 and it never recovered.

    Thoughts on how to revamp the tech section then if not these new sections?
