pures vs tankers

Alright guys, my pure is 99 range 87 str, 60 atk and 1 def of course. I lose every time I ever fight a tanker. How do u beat a tanker

 

Avoid using melee at all (no claws/dds spec) and try msb/cbow.
99 range will rip right through <70def while 60attack has problems with even 45def at times.

I can't imagine you fighting many tankers though...
At your cmb (low 70s im guessing) at most you'll find a single 40def/80ranger.

 

You can try darts/cbow combo. I used to use that a lot in pvp.

 

Try using mage too, and the best way to rip through defence on a pure is God swords and whip.

 

Mage won't work against a tank, they will usually be in range offensive bonus which has a high magic defence.

My pure was 99 range 88 strength, and whenever I had to (I tried to avoid it as much as possible) fight a tank, I would just flat range with Rune Crossbow and Dragon bolts (e) with a Dark Bow for my spec.

 

Why magic when it'll be wearing MAGE- gear?

Maybe do the good old MSB/AGS/CLAW trick?

tbh if you're pure the only way you're going to ko a tank is dbolts or claws.
....never really tried ags on a tank but I'm assuming it'd work.

 

For one A pure v a tanker is like a smart car v a monster truck. Its not made to happen. But if you would like to kill a tanker you will need to mage/range hybrid. Dbolts with a combo of morg javs or morg throwing axes. With 99 range you hit a 60 then take the final hit with a morgan axe or jav. Have to combo can not take your time.

Tanking takes no skill what so ever. I have one and its boring as shit. You use bolts or magic bow or you can pj with a dark bow. All tankers do is eat if they dont have there fag armour they get raped. For example i saw uaex V Jad kill a range tanker because he did not have his torags on.

 

Or you can get 70 attack and get a Saradomin sword, the spec rips through tanks :0 even tho you get one try at it
