From becoming involved an a part of disputes an discussion's around the world of a massive multiplayer online role playing game that goes by the name of Runescape I have heard an brought up the topic of the 'Beta Combat Update' which is yet to be released, the most heard comment about the 'Beta Combat Update' has been about the removal of the 'Special Bar' which some may know as the 'Spec Bar' which is being removed off of weapons with the ability to use a 'Special ability', which has brought to my concern a possibility of
Pure's Becoming Obsolete.
obsolete meaning a thing of the past, something in this case a type of account no longer used (for player vs. player), if you're not quite sure the meaning of absolete give is a Google search using the keywords 'obsolete meaning'.

I have gave this thought some consideration an considered that Jagex have probably found a way around this, cause lets face it accounts considered 'pures' wouldn't be the best without there Dclaw, Gmaul, Dbow an all types of specs.
Personally I think Jagex would be quite aware about the 'pure' type of accounts an are probably working around the clock trying to find or already have found a solution.
It'd be a mistake for Jagex to try an make pure's a thing of the past, feel free to share your thoughts.​
 
If spec bar is removed, won't dclaw be useless?
 
If useless is the case, there will defiantly be a price drop in place.
Personally I think Jagex may bring out something new to replace the old with the new the old being 'spec bar'.
Still my theory an statement remain unsolved an I have no idea how Jagex plan to replace the 'spec bar', they must be thinking, planing something along the lines of a change, replacement.
 
If they do become obsolete I say good riddance.
 
I sure hope pures become obsolete.
They're playing the game in a way it wasn't meant to be played.
It's quite deceitful actually.

Are you serious? That's like telling someone live their life same as everyone else, bro pures made rs famous tbh if it wasn't for the videos they put on yt of them pking and such I know I wouldn't of started playing. Go and tell that to all the pkers/pures your going to get so much hate. Just because they are made for pking and not skilling or such you want them to be obsolete? Just stop bro.
 
If pures were a mistake why the hell wouldn't jagex have done something about it 11 years ago?
 
Pures are dead...That is a fact...

You NEED defence to survive now...All armour gives an HP boost now...So someone with say 50 def /attack/str would mop the floor with someone 99 att/str/hp and 1 def...Why? because you hit rapidly now (basically) and the person with 50 def would have about 4,000HP where you would have around 990...

You also need your "adrenaline bar" to stay high to get some good abilities in. When you eat food you lose part of your adrenaline bar. So if you always had to eat, than you wouldn't be able to get any good hits in, where the other person would tank the hell out of you and be hitting you like they were 99 att/str...

Pures will be dead within seconds of a fights start.

Also, Jagex is NOT working on a way to "fix" this...They did it on purpose, to kill pures.

pures are dead, this game is changed for good. there is no way a pure could stand a chance against another account. they are dead for good, if you play a pure, my advice is to join 2006scape.com over 200k accounts registered, and many pure clans including mayhem makers are all quitting and starting up their clan over there.

Nah, i'm going to keep playing on my turmoil pure. Even if I don't pk on it, it'll still be fun to play on. Playing on mains is too easy, not a challenge at all. Do a firecape on a maxed main and tell me how fun/challenging that was. Not very.

Now do it on a level 50 or 60 pure. Much more exciting, no?

Lets be honest, pures have been an important part of the game since the beginning and they will also be that in the future.
 
Let's be completely honest, your multiple fails at spelling the word obsolete is frustrating to say the least. And you actually told people to google search it, maybe you should do the same :nuts:

On topic tiem; I only have one account in Runescape and it is a pure, if my account becomes useless then i'll just have to join that 2006 remake everyone is talking about.
 
Zerker pures for instance, my plan of a pure after 1 defence pures become considered absolete.
My wonders are how much defence will be needed for barrows gloves/torso.
