Guide to allow account access without password/teamview

Many sellers insist that one must supply them with the account username and password or access to the buyers computer via teamviewer. Both options are risky and give the seller a chance to either steal your account or infect your computer.

For years it has been possible to login to any account with only a link, no username or password required.

First, log into the lobby on your account.



Once there, select the button "here" to access your membership center.

When you select the "here" button, a browser window will open and you'll have to IMMEDIATELY copy the link displayed. If you wait too long, you'll have to do it again as the link will redirect you to your logged in session. When you click the "here" button, a unique link is generated that logs your account into the website. It will look like this:

Once you've got this on your clipboard, simply paste it to your seller and they'll be able to immediately login to your account without having your password or computer at their control.

The links expire every few hours so access is restricted once the trade is complete.

Hope this helps, I don't see why it's necessary for people to have access to your account when something like this is available.

 

Cant you change the name/password/email/recoveries etc?

 

No, you need to enter your password to access the account management section
