What happened was, he talked like a retard, and every 5 seconds he had to mention about how he was drunk. People didn't really give a shit, they just got kicks from it. But then, someone made a thread with all the shit he's said into one. People started connecting the dots to how much of a stereotypical douche he made himself sound like. Then, he wanted to flip it around, started using an expanded vocabulary, but a lot of things were misspelled, or didn't make sense. He also threw in a lot of fake stories of his life to perhaps redeem his shame, but ended up backfiring because most of the people in SF are too smart to be hand-fed bullshit.

EX:

He said he used heroin, and talks about being drunk 24/7.

Then after he got a bunch of flack, he started trying to sound smarter, made up stories saying he was a 4.0 Student, and challenged people to compare transcripts.
