Post your current psp theme here

It is called Hyaline. It's actually pretty fucking crappy, and I need to change it to something better.

Oh and I'd recommend using cxmb.prx and loading the themes off your memory stick instead of flashing. I don't really want to brick my psp, so that's what I do.

How to use a custom theme:
First, download the theme you want to use. Search google and you will find something. The files should be RCO files. Leave them like that.

Option #1 (safe): Download cxmb.prx (custom xmb plugin). It will come in a folder called TM, and that goes on the root of your memory stick. If you need help enabling the plugin, use the readme.

Next, put the RCO files (or font file) into the folders inside TM. Fonts will go into the font folder and the other files will go into the resource folder. First, though, delete everything in the resource folder, but KEEP THE FONTS in the font folder. Reboot your PSP, wait a second for the plugin to load, and your psp will be using a custom theme.

Oh, and when you are enabling the plugin, make sure ms0:/TM/cxmb.prx is at the TOP of vsh.txt. (you will figure it out in the readme or just search google on how to enable plugins)

Option #2 (may semi-brick your psp): Turn your PSP completely off. Turn it on holding down R. The recovery menu will come up. Go to advanced and toggle USB for Flash 0. Open the folder on your computer. Back up the whole folder and save it somewhere. Now, copy fonts to the font folder and the rco files to the /vsh/resource/ folder. If it says there is not enough room, search google on how to fix this. I do not really know. Reboot your psp. If your PSP does not turn on properly, you have bricked it.

Either your fucked up the flash 0 folder or you are using a theme for a different firmware. To fix this, turn off your PSP, turn it on holding R, and search on google how to recover it.

I prefer the first options as it is much safer. The only downside to it is that if you switch memory sticks, your theme can't be accessed of course. When you copy it to flash, you can turn your psp on without a memory stick and you will still have your theme.

    Depends on your firmware.
But with the more recent, you just have to convert the video to mp4 format and put in your video folder.
You used to have to convert to mp4 in a specific way and put it in a folder following an odd naming convention.

Oh I have 3.40 OE-A. Most themes these days are for 3.40 OE anyway. I was going to copy the themes to flash, but when I tried it said that there wasn't enough room on the drive. That is probably good, because I was running 3.30 OE at the time, and the theme was for 3.40 OE. -.- That would have been fun to recover.

You could probably make kiddie porn icons and change the sounds to moaning children.

Oh and to put videos on your PSP use 3GP converter. It works for almost any file, and it is pretty quick too.

Here is my new theme. I am not crazy about the volume bar, but it works ok.

The picture is a little brighter than it actually looks on the psp, but that is just the fault of my screenshot plugin.
The blue curvy things in the middle is a modified wave. It's one of my favorite waves I think.
