PSA: Runes are now 10 IP each

Apparently runes are being removed in preseason and have had their price reduced to 10 IP each. There won't be any refunds issued so don't go too crazy with blowing your IP on useless runes, but now's the time to mess around with some fun builds.

 

I didn't really read into what they're doing in place of runes, care to share some light?

 

Basically runes and masteries will be combined into a single system where the majority of the power will be concentrated into a single keystone rune (kind of like keystone masteries, but more significant). There will be less possible combinations of runes and you only get to pick 6 in total, so the choice of runes matters a lot more.

As well as them increasing the Level cap too. Basically instead of new players being at a disadvantage Rune/Mastery wise everyone will have access to the same combined Rune/Mastery system. This upcoming pre-season is going to be quite interesting.

Yeah lately I've been messing with old builds with the really cheap runes. Some of them like soraka top have been quite fun, great throwback haha
