Assumptions assumptions. Go ahead and read the reviews first mmk silly bear? Then we'll talk.

Arguments are moot unless you have evidence to back them up. I have my evidence. My argument?: "The PS3 DOES have some good exclusive games"

Your argument: The PS3 has NO good exclusive games.
Where's your EVIDENCE? Oh by the way, opinions aren't evidence ;)

So you basically judge a game from a few 5minute videos? >_>
    Fail. That's just....fail.
And PS3s cost $399, your price argument has failed many a time.

This whole thread is about an arguement! The topic is which console is better, and what games are better!

[sarcasm]And making a points about things you don't even know about is really genius.[/sarcasm]

    REVIEWS ARE OPINIONS.
Just thought I'd point that out.

Yes this thread is an argument, but the argument wasn't about gta. Now it is an argument. I didn't know it was on xbox 360, now I do, thank you for informing me. Just annoys me that u go straight to calling pplz retards.

True reviews are opinions, but there not biased.

    No shit??

That's your only point against what I said?

Reviews are meant to be objective, therefore not opinionated. Thus it is not an opinion. Win? I think so.

    You're done.

Umm... its coming out on 360 and the 360 version will have extra DLC, that PS3 wont have.

Reviews are bias, not a complete opinion but bias. BTW publishers PR try to get certain types of reviewers to review there games on purpose to get the highest rating they can. When the game prey was coming out there was a lot of buzz on the internet because one of the websites was going to get a exclusive early review of the game but the publishers wanted a 9.0 or higher. You cant just look at a review score and judge a game.

Also, if a game comes out on 360 and pc; and you are compairing 360 vs. Ps3 then it is not exactly an exclusive; but the competition (ps3) doesn't have it.

And one person's opinion that matters more than all of the reviews combined is Gabe Newell of valve. Read this.

BTW: If you think valve still likes ps3 cause orange box came out for ps3, thats not right because EA is actually developing the PS3 version, probably cause valve didn't want to.

This may also be the reason why there are many 360 games coming out before the ps3 versions.

Because Microsoft paid fifty million for it.

Learn what the definition of 'review' is. It's a RE-VIEW.

    Obviously, but that was irrelevant.

YAY. YOU JUST MADE A FUCKING CIRCLE. Even if the PS3 doesn't have a game that comes out on 360 and PS3, it still comes to PC, which makes it non-exclusive.

Who. The. Fuck. Cares. About. Some. Fatass. Who. Has. Nothing. To. Do. With. EVERY FUCKING THING NOT FROM VALVE?

Stop assuming jack shit. EA could give a fuck about the PS3, all they are after is money. Their devs need to get off their asses and actually learn how to code the PS3, instead of porting every game.

It comes out because it's the >>COMPANY'S BEST INTEREST<<. They make the most money by releasing on the most popular console first, and then later releasing on less popular consoles.

The entire gaming industry revolves around money. Remember that.

    Playstation 3.

Unless you really enjoy playing Halo 3 or Gears of War, the Playstation 3 has many advantages to the Xbox 360.

If you buy the white box (premium) Xbox 360, you will buy a much greater cost in add-ons than when buying a PS3, in it's premium version of 80 GB.

The Playstation 3 comes with wireless internet built in. Something that if you want for the Xbox 360, is another 99 dollar add-on. Xbox 360 - 349+99 PS3 - 499

The Playstation 3 comes with a blu-ray player built in, something that if you want for the Xbox 360, is another 200 dollar add-on, for the HD-DVD player, which in one disk still comes up at half of the storage space on each disk, with 25 GB of storage on an HD-DVD, versus the available 50 GB of storage on one Blu-Ray disk. If you don't think Xbox 360 games will move to HD-DVD soon, your wrong. In order to keep up with the storage space to keep their games to one disk, instead of 4 DVD disks, they will just make games on HD-DVD, and require you to buy the Premium, with the HD-DVD. Xbox 360 - 349+99+200 PS3 - 499

The Playstation 3 comes with wireless controllers, similar to that of the Xbox 360. On the 360, you can get wireless controllers for 50 dollars, and have to replace your batteries often, or buy rechargable batteries for about 20 dollars more. With the PS3, you get batteries built in, rechargable. Another advantage to the PS3 is that there is a built-in Six-Axis sensor in the controller. this sensor can allow you to control certain aspects of the game, simply by tilting the controller in one direction or another. If you prefer the Xbox 360's rumble feature to this, don't worry. Scheduled before 2008, and already included in a previous PS3 update, support for the new Dual shock 3 controllers has been added in addition to the Six-Axis sensor. This means, if you like the rumble, you can buy a controller that supports the function. If you don't, and prefer the non-rumble, you don't have to have it. Xbox 360 - 349+99+200+20 PS3 - 499

The Playstation 3 comes with a built-in web browser, something that the Xbox 360 doesn't have as an option at all.

The Playstation 3 comes with an option to easily upgrade your hard disk drive. Simply buy a new HDD online, anywhere, while making sure it is an SATA, 5200 RPM hard disk, plug it in, and you can format it to work for the PS3 on the spot. If you want to upgrade that 20 GB HDD on the Xbox 360, you either have to void your warranty, or pay 200 dollars for a 120 GB HDD. The PS3 upgrade to a 160 GB HDD can be bought for 90, if you decided to upgrade from the already 80 GB - 4 times more space than the stock 20 GB HDD on the 360.

Not happy with your PC? Install Linux on your PS3 and use it as your new PC, with an 8 core processor, in the cell broadband engine, you can compute processes in a fraction of the time your PC can, even if it is dual-core. This is, not to mention, that your video card in the PS3 is a 512 equivalent, specially made video card, supporting directx 10, something not even the 360 can boast.

The Playstation 2 can automatically sync with your PC or Mac, to play and view any compatible audio, (AAC, MP3) video, (MP4) and photos (JPEG, GIF) Your digital camera at home takes all of it's pictures in JPEG format, and lucky for any PS3 user, there is a multi-card reader built into your PS3 too! Can't get that in your Xbox.

The Playstation 3 won't require a purchase of the old magazine to test out your games before you purchase. All you have to do is simply go onto the playstation store, and download your demos absolutely free. Try that on your Xbox 360, and you'll run into 2 problems. One - It's not available. Two - Your HDD is not going to be big enough for more than 9-10 or so demos, at 2 GB each in size.

On the topic of download-related subjects - If you enjoy playing games online, with other users - on the Xbox 360, to buy your headset and first 3 months, it will cost you 30 dollars. If you buy a renewal, you can expect that for each year past the first 3 month pack, you'll be paying 60 dollars just to play a game against another user. One the PS3, you won't pay a dime. It is absolutely free to interact with other users on the PS3, in every way - Gaming, video-chats, conversation, text, PMs, and anything else you can think of.

Lastly, if you want to make things faster online, where you pay nothing, you might want to think about getting some accessories. Lucky for you, you don't have to worry about buying another PS3 product to get it to work for you. If you want to chat with another user in-game, or over the Friend-chat, go buy any Bluetooth capable headset (the ones you use with your cell) and just sync em up for as low as 20 dollars today. (The Xbox 360 wireless headset will cost you 60 dollars) if you want to get a keyboard to make your internet surfing to be quicker, don't worry, just go buy any USB keyboard that is wired, and type all you want. Mouse will work in the very same way for you. There are also available mouse/keyboard sets for the PS3 wirelessly, video cameras, with built-in mics, and a ton of inexpensive controllers.

As for all of those users who say that the Playstation 3 doesn't have any good titles released on the console, I currently own two Playstation 3 consoles, have owned in the past , the Xbox 360, and two Wii consoles. At the moment, the Playstation 3 is releasing all of the major title hits, at the same exact time as the 360, except for the exclusive Halo 3 title. If you want a fairly updated list of games, you can find them on Wikipedia here:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_PlayStation_3_games

And one of the best new features for the PS3 is, as usual, again, free. The next add-on to the PS3 XMB, game, MMO, and very similar to the major PC hit, 'The Sims,' HOME.

Don't get me wrong, either. I don't hate Xbox 360, and I play it every once in a while, but as far as the perspective of gaming, from now into the future, I've seen a lot more benefits in the PS3. I'm speaking from not only ownership experience of all 3 consoles, but from a salesperson's perspective, as I work in an electronics store as my profession, and I have to deal with customers daily. I see many more Xbox 360s returned under terms of it's poor quality hardware breaking down. You might know this as the 'three lights of death.' I only know of one PS3 'breaking down' in my store's sales history, and it was only because the user changed the region code on the hardware. Something we fixed in minutes.

Also, you might have noticed that I left the Wii out of my 'debate.' I have personally played a Wii console, and I love it. It's great, but in the 'console war' I don't think it's even a competitor. Technically, it is, and as far as sales, they just last week passed Xbox 360 in total console sales. Good for them. The console, however, in my opinion, is more of a family interactivity center, where you all just have fun together. Anyone who buys it as a console for their kids this christmas is going to find out what I mean, too, when they start playing. Consoles are typically for individuals and friends, the Wii is for family/large group fun. If you want to make the most of it.
