use ON gold standard whey.

I get the double chocolate because you can buy it in the 10lb big bag otherwise I'd probably get the french vanilla.

MyProtein Impact Whey Protein - Cookies and cream. I have 3/day, one with water and 2 with milk.

Mixes perfectly - never have any problems with lumps.
Flavour isn't great - used Chocolate prior to this and will be going back to that or move on to trying another.
Great ratios - High in protein per serving.
Cheap af.

Probably already know this but thought I'd point out that you should only use shakes on top of a clean diet that's already rich in protein, or if you're just struggling to keep up your daily amounts; the best source of nutrients is through food, not shakes, hence why they're supplements.

Never used these before. Are there much benefits than working out without them?

Yes boss if you have not taken them before for your gym petrol you will notice results in a very short space of time , the one I posted helps keep the muscle fatigue & aches away during and after a session.

Hope this helps if you want any more info you can message me , same goes to anybody on the thread.

Another question, protein shakes before or after workout?

Depends on your diet. I'm doing flexible dieting, which means I'm just supposed to fit my macro-nutrient allocation daily, and spread them out evenly.

I drink creatine before AND after my workout, but protein only AFTER my workout. I take BCAAs during my workout. I used to take a high GI carb powder during my workout, but I ran out, and my trainer hasn't had me buy more since giving me BCAA amino acids to take instead, so idk if you can do both at the same time.

I say "depends" because if you're not on a no-card diet, the most important thing to have before your workout isn't protein, it's low-GI carbs. Brown rice, pasta, black beans, fruit, etc. You burn carbs for energy during your workout, and then your muscles rebuild with protein/amino acids/carbs/water after your workout.

tl;dr no. protein powder comes after your workout.

@OP: I take herbalife chocolate, and I blend it up with banana sometimes if I'm feeling frisky. Usually just straight water/protein though.

I'm avoiding all dairy, so sometimes I shake it up with almond milk, but mostly just water.
