    I think people from england would pronounce oh be and the people from the much better country, USA, would pronounce it aw be. Personally I say aw be.

    It's short for obsidion or obelisk, so you pronounce it like the "ob" in those words and then just at the 'y' sound.

    Well if you think about it, Obby would be pronounced Aw Bye, soooo Aw BE would be closer and sounds better sooo... bad english pronunciation or not... AW BE!!

    In that reasoning, it would be 'uh be', not 'oh be'.

    Anyways I always pronounce it like this, 'aw be'.
