If it's 100% replicated, I assume the xp rate is x1. It's 2012, why would anyone play a RSClassic private server at such a rate?

 

Here's 2 reasons for ya Andre.


1. Best economy there could/can be also making it so new comers will make cash because not everyone is going to try and get high levels and there's no reason to have flats, that's something P-servers have made everyone think is necessary.

2. No more multi loggers with 10+ 1 99 1 with 80magic and 40 pray accounts. Making the wild safe for solo pking once again.

Well I would only play RSClassic again for the pking tbh, regardless of the economy. In this context, a 1x XP rate will only encourage low level pking as it would take weeks/months to gain decent stats for higher levels. The RS2 XP rate is still "slow" but ALOT faster than RSClassic was. Personally, I would prefer multi-loggers with a higher xp rate, rather than knowing that the higher the combat level, the lesser the chance of finding a fight.

When RSCA was released, the player base was huge in comparison to what it is nowadays (and pking still wasn't that active). Most classic players have moved on and prefer to login once every now and then just for a quick PK or stake. So unless older players suddenly re-emerged into the scene, I don't see how this project can be successful tbh. If you asked the current community, I'm sure the majority would vote for a higher XP rate.
