Project of Love

I wrote this one night when I was in a tangle with my girlfriend... I was just kind of confused about things, looking into pros and cons. When I am in depressed moods and thought moods or whatnot, I always get into a writing vibe.. Here is a poem I wrote just kind of randomly. It is free verse and doesn't necessarily follow any rules besides creativity.
Feedback please!

Love is a young child’s art project.
Glued, taped,
tossed upon construction paper.
Colors are mixed like thoughts, covered
by ribbons of string that dangle in the way.
String that sometimes is overwhelming, along
with so many flowing colors.
But at the same time, the colors
do not flow well at all. As a matter
of fact, the colors completely do not flow.
So contaminate of glitter, sparkles
glue, tape.
So much that some should be removed,
or should more be added?
However, the project is not trash.
The project is a project, not yet completed.
The project never will be completed, but will always change.
This project is love.

 

Wow..that is stunning! The imagery was as fantastic as the passion I could practically feel from the passage! Keep up the good work my friend.
