Profound Armor & Castle Wars

That's why I play for the most part but eventually I hope to get profound armor.

Very nice, what don't you like about Castle Wars now?

Hmm, you must be playing a different game then I am. I'm playing Castle Wars right now and I have been for awhile and people never insult or get angry, the people there are not generally mean because they are only there for fun. The rewards are really good for people that really enjoy castle wars too, shows dedication.

 

I think that this armor set looks awesome espicially with a royal crown or a yellow party hat. I would buy the helm last.

 

I lost two full sets of blue/white castle wars armor a few years ago in a hack T_T that was my pride and joy even when I had money for real armor.

 

Man that must of really sucked, I know the feeling.

 

I always liked soul wars more then castle wars because soul wars actually gives useful rewards. I just always used my reward zeal on summon charms and exp. That and I always loved playing it. The avatars have high enough health to where you could try out your max with dh and overloads or whatever your gear was.

 

CW now sucks, back in the day it was awesome. I used to play all the time.

The format and rules have long since change due to the stupid heads that sit around in a couch all day thinking how to mess up runescape further. Besides, an increase of "d claws" and annoying people in general-it isn't what it used to be. Also- the change of look in the armor sucks, the old settings were far more appealing to the eye.

 

I used to play a lot when I first got members. I still play now but not as often as before :S The game gets boring and there are a lot of stackers...

What don't you like about it now?

Not much really changed other then some cosmetic stuff, more rewards, and a couple of new features like flares, balistias, and a few other unimportant items. I can see what you mean how it feels like it has changed, with all of the new weapons and armors the game play is vastly different. However I kind of like that, it presents more of a challenge. As for the armor, I did love the old Castle Wars armor, however with all of the new armor Jagex has been releasing the graphics on the old Castle Wars seems very outdated compared to things like Torva and Varrock armor 4. I still like it though

 

eh not a fan of cw anymore, the armour does look cool though.
all i do these days is bot bot bot.

 

I play castle wars when I'm bored, normally after I have been skilling for a while I do a bit of castle wars for a change of scenery.

I remember bursting barricades years ago, other than that it its not much fun for me unless it was a dangerous minigame I'd play it all day killing noobs.

I am at around the 2500-3000 games mark not gonna say exact for obvious reasons.. Got the full profound and zammy halo but I hate going there now compared to when I used to play for fun. The people at Castle Wars now are so mean and just start randomly insulting me if I put on my profound (saying I have no life and whatnot) - Ironically they are level 138s!

 

Wow nice, I'm really jealous lol. Don't mind the trolls, they are all jealous obviously. Must of taken a lot of dedication to get it, hopefully I'll have it eventually.
