Get as tired as you can. Do exercises, take shower and go to bed. That's what I do. I got problems with sleeping since forever. Sometimes if I lay down with my headset I fall asleep but very often I wake up in the middle of the night.

i used to have this problem when i was 16-18, mainly after i lost a bunch staking.

but same for jail, it was so hard to sleep in jail and that's when you really learn how to sleep. and it was always because i was thinking about getting out and how i was going to change. but you just got to learn to relax your mind, and try to think positively. usually you can't sleep because too much is on your mind. so you have to clear your mind and think positive. which is really different for everyone. you have to find what works for you.

one thing you can definitely do is pick up a hobby or exercise so when you go to bed, you're so tired you don't have time to think.

I would talk to a doctor, possibly prescribe you some heavy dosage sleeping pills?

strongly disagree ^^ just about everything can be managed without pills, such as anxiety. you don't want your body to be dependent upon a substance if it's unnecessary.

i went through a typical teen stage when i was 16 due to family issues and they tried to prescribe me lexapro, an anti-depressant and i decided to take it one day and stop. i realized that it's within me to find out how to deal with my problems and i was not going to become dependent upon a pill.

i think it's very unfair as to how many doctors are so quick to prescribe anti-depressants, and anxiety pills. rather, they could help the kids deal with it internally and learn how to cope and deal with their emotions, or at least direct them to the right person; eg. a psychiatrist. otherwise, all they're doing it is extending the procedure if they ever want to come off those pills.

it's all about $$$$$$$$$$$$$$. you don't need those damn pills.

Not to be typical, but weed is very good at putting you to sleep. Sex, or the solo form, alot of working out will make you sore and tired, eating a lot will give you a food coma, staying up very very very late will make you super tired
