Note: I did try fighting back. It settled things for a while, but every time I fight back, it got even worse the next time.

Brother: let me use your earphones

Me: you've took 5/6
Brother: So? don't be fucking selfish.

None of above were exaggerated and yeah, I could go on for hours.

Yeah I've tried fighting back. However, I was the one who got into trouble.
My parents don't try to do shit, they know that he's a raging retarded monkey.

What should I do?
My friend suggested that I pee on him while he sleeps and honestly, that's the best advice yet.

Should honestly stick up for what you have too and let whatever happen, happen,
At least you would of established your boundaries and prove to him that you're serious, and will get physical, so next time he'll think twice about fucking with you,
Beats getting pushed around and walked over like a little bitch.

Yeah, they're just telling me that I should feel sorry for him, since he's taking university interviews, but is probably failing at every single one of them.

That's actually the reason why he's being an ass; he feels bad and lets it out on other people. I DID try hitting him back and that settled things for a while. But he holds that in and he hits me more or even harder the next time he gets stressed.

But the more outrageous part is that I'm taking university interviews, too.

This is what he said before, and he's probably sticking to it:
brother: fail at your <insert test name here> test.
me: why?
brother: because I feel like I'm going to fail, too, and I'd be embarrassed if you didn't.

And he should find an alternative to releasing his anger and shouldn't direct it towards you, because believe it or not, that doesn't help YOUR self-esteem,
Anyways, when the kid starts acting up and starts being unreasonable and inconsiderate, than so should you, put him in his place one good time, to set your boundaries, would well be worth it in the long run, I think.
 
Tell him to treat you with respect or you will no longer consider him a brother. If he continues hit him back, since your parents aren't doing anything. Don't just let him get away with hitting you.

Agreed.

If this doesn't work try working out and getting bigger. In my own experience, that is what I had to do with my dad. Try p90x, the gym, insanity, anything to get stronger and beat him at his own game.
 
Try letting him know you think he treats you like crap. Tell him even though he treats you bad that he is still your brother and you care for him. If he has a conscience it should ring in the back of his head and get him thinking. Maybe he is just an all around douche bag, if the brotherly love doesn't work. You should always be able to trust your brother, in my opinion.

Well, in human nature people respect other people who have higher dominance over them, and battle for dominance of whatever. Not to be mean, but you're brother's a complete douchefuck fagtard. I'm glad my brother's not like that.

You could try first to pull some emotional shit on him and your parents, but don't make yourself look gay, lmao. If that doesn't work, then you just show physical dominance little by little, till he gets the message.

If THAT doesn't work and your parents don't do shit, try contacting a Child Services and try to tell them your problem and set up a meeting where only you and the organization knows about it. They're professionally trained in this type of stuff and probably know a shitload more than us. Your parents are obviously being negligent and if really gets that bad with your brother, he could be charged with assault or something if you really want to take it that far.

I don't know if they offer those services in South Korea, I'm only knowledgeable on U.S laws. And probably people said my advice up before, but hopefully something got explained differently in my post than the others. It's better to get as much advice as you can.

I wouldn't recommend pissing on your brother as it would just lead to other problems and by problems I mean him beating the shit out of you. If someone pissed on me while I was sleeping, I would DEFINITIVELY beat the living fuck out of them, or try to.

Haha I'm kinda stuck in the middle man.
I DID try to confront the problem emotionally and physically a couple of times, but these had only temporary effects.
Plus, when I use physical force, he does get the message but holds it inside and gives it back directly the next time he goes raging again. If this continues, I'm VERY sure that one of us will end up killing each other.

My parents know but wont admit that he's an ass. So, they wont do anything about the situation and tell me that I should understand the pain that he's going through.

Of course I want to report him to the police. But if I do that, the entire family would hold a grudge against me for prestige and pride related problems haha
 
I'd report him to the police dude. Family isn't a true family if they let a family member abuse you and put you down all the time. Do what's best for YOU.
 
I am the eldest child of 4 boys (meaning I have 3 younger brothers), and I could write a novel about all the fights and savage beatings that I administered to my brothers over the years or watched them dish out to each other. Now that we are all older and alot more mature, we all get along great and actually quite enjoy each others company. This took time!

You and your brother are about the same age but it sounds like your brother is immature in a number of ways, and like he is handling his stress/anger inappropriately by taking it out on you and the rest of the family. Even though it sucks sometimes, you could probably help the situation alot by trying to be the more mature one in those kinds of scenarios, or just plain avoiding him when hes in one of those "moods". Usually, these are the kinds of situations that parents will intervene in and make sure both children are being fair with each other and that there is no major violence occuring. It sounds like your parents really dont give a shit though..

If things really get out of hand and you have nowhere else to go, I would try talking to a counsellor at your school about your problems at home, particularly the violence you experience at the hand of your brother. You can also try to contact the nearest child services type agency, as they often have lots of people available to help youth who are in high risk situations or chaotic home environments. Hope everything works out for you bro
