    Hi, i want to make a private server what do i need or what are some good ones, and tell me the risks of them and how the risks present themselves

    You need a VPS, and the risk would be legal action by jagex if your server is big enough and hosted in the USA or UK, or a country with laws agaisnt it.

    You need to download a source, since you prob don't know any coding.
