    Revenge or justice?

What do you think should happen? Just go free and if they kill again, hell, no hard feelings.

Revenge = an eye for an eye. You should not be in it for revenge.

To be completely honest, Theres probably a 5:7 ratio of people caught by possession of marijuana, to murderers/rapists/robbers in prison. Its really messed up, LEGALIZE is all I have to say.. innocent men being thrown behind bars, who's to tell us marijuana's bad.

It's not what *I* decide. It's what society decides.

Funny as it may seem, Deathrace said it best. Society has determined that it is in society's best interests that the people in penitentiaries are not allowed to be part of society. They are a threat to society and are incapable of functioning within its rules. If you can't play by the rules, you can't be part of society.

Of course, they didn't always have jails. Exile used to be a form of punishment as well. However, exile can't work anymore. Who's going to take them? Every country has immigration laws now, lol! Felons are not at the top of their list.

Unfortunately we're out of land, so we can't create a "country" of exiles, as Britain did with Australia. So that's where Penitentiary come into play.

Who are you to judge what is bad?
You arent. In fact, if YOUR the one judging a man's fate and ruining his life, and his families then YOUR goin to be judged and harshly in the afterlife.

Not any worse than alcohol or cigarettes.

    Legalize it, and TAX it.
