Prices have gone up.

I quit rs a few months ago and I've decided to start playing again and I'm wondering why have the prices of most items gone up ridiculously?

I know that Jagex has banned atleast 90% of bots but why does it affect armour and weapons?

I'd say its mainly down to the 76k trick, anyone with an account level 120+ can farm about 1m/h just afking ep, kids go to school leave there accounts logged in getting ep, get home make a few mil etc.

 

Yup ,its due to 76k trickers.
And jagex wont do anything to stop it, sadly.
We, legit players have to buy our items for so high prices..runescape s EVEN more shity now.

1 - The prices were raising rapidly way before the shop updates.
2 - The Shop updates themselves (as far as i can see) have had verry little effect on the economy.....
3 - 500m+gp (atleast) is brought into the game every day as the result of 76king, theres always atleast 100 people afking ep every hour of every day on a pvp/bh world, every level 120+ at 100% ep will get around 1m(at the lowest) to like 15m (if lucky) every 2 hours, work it out.

 

So too many people 76k trick and bring money in that way, hence other item prices increase, does ep show on bh worlds or pvp worlds?

 

i thought evrythin went up cuz of that guy who glitched bounty huntin and brought 1bil into the game.

Nah bro 1bil is nothing really, arma hilts about 100m, and atleast one of them get brought into the game every day.

 

I dunno, arma hilt is rare and I doubt aleast one gets brought into the game every day.

 

76k trick doesnt make that much money into game honestly i've pked over 3B of items in pvp and i've only made around 400M

 

A portion of the problem could be merching clans? But they've always been a problem.

 

Ill have to say merchanting clans + 26/76k tricking.

 

What the hell are the shop updates? am i missing something big here?

EDIT: oh do you mean like the shops stocking x amount of runes? i thought it was player owned shops

 

I love how all you fags are complaining about the 76k trick and you LEGIT players having to buy stuff expensive. Just 76k trick too if you think it's that terrible and you can make that much money... Why wouldn't you want to do it?

 

What you sell to shops can't be seen by other players.

 

Doesn't the account log-out if you leave it for awhile without moving?...
I don't see how you go to school AND get ep.

 

You go to a spot where almost no people go or just where all the EPer's go all the way west in the lil area over there and you go under a huge d-dot and hope not to get attacked, then put like a stapler on your arrow so you keep going around and not log out.

 

I call bullshit on that. They would get banned for macroing. Think straight..
And yes, afk counts as macroing in Jagex's eyes.

 

How are you a legit player... This is a botting/blackmarket website.

 

90% 76king, which pumps 100's of MILLIONS of raw gp into the economy every day. 10% shop updates and other shit. Oh and people losing items in PvP = items that are never coming back which means less supply + more demand, hence an increase in prices.
