prices after ft/wildy & in future

hi guys
before 1st feb a guy gave me advice to use all my money to buy pking supplies, because of the projected high demand. so im f2p and i just bought out a whole lot of f2p pking stuff, rune scims,2hs,pots,lobs. and that has divided my wealth in half now =.= scims 30k to 15, 2h 50 to 30, lobs 220 to 70. will the prices ever rise again? because im still holding on to my stuff, hoping for the best....
also im curious why they even crashed? wasnt there a high demand?

I think rune scims will go up to 20 - maybe 25k tops, r2h's 35k - 40k tops, and not really sure about lobs but I highly doubt they'll go all the way up to 220 again, especially with all the bots

 

Never listen to advice from anyone. Holiday rares don't skyrocket at that holiday, pking items don't rise with releases of updates, it's a myth by merchants to hoard items at low prices and watch them slowly rise again.

 

Pk items did raise a lot before free trade

 

think about it, items don't disapear. this is what i mean by that, back then if i killed you, and you had claws... i wouldn't get your claws... meaning 1 pair of claws that has vanished from runescape. now if you kill someone, the item passes to you.

 

yea items dont disappear anymore so nothing is in high demand..
only thing that might sta y stable is rocktail and shit like that because u can eat them but then again ppl can just fish them and keep them flowing into rs...

 

Just sold all my f2p pking shits and its been the same general price for a month. Everything sold at mid price (some overnight) so I doubt they will ever go up unless there is a HUGE bot ban.

 

I don't think they will ever rise because basically there's more bots in F2P, so F2p stuff seem to be dropping a lot, where P2P are much more stable, but still nonetheless, P2P stuff have been a downwards slope as well.

agreed, f2p is not stable at all.. so many bots, however, your better off to be P2P so you don't get docked as much as there is less bots in p2p.

 

Sorry but you paid retarded prices for all the things you bought. I don't see any possible way to even break even with those items. Ever. The player base is too large, and those items are getting pumped out into the economy every day.

Added to that, now no Rune is lost while PKing like it was with randomised drops. So people are smithing it and getting it as PVM drops, but nobody is losing it (except I guess people in clan wars where you aren't allowed to loot until your side has won)

 

Is this necessarily a bad thing?
We get cheaper stuff to enjoy the game with, especially people who like having fun PvPing.

 

The holiday items definitely won't rise.
