Price check: Fully built gold selling website

So i've spent some time creating a gold selling website and wanted to see what it could be worth.
The feature i'm most proud of is the custom livechat i've coded. Instead of having the common free livechat widget implemented into your website (Zendesk, zowie, etc...), if you buy this you'll have a 100% whitelabel customer support platform.

Just wanted to see what it'd be worth. Also if you've got any recommendations lmk.

Features:

- Fully responsive. Site looks great on PC, tablet and mobile.

- ranking system (powerleveler, gold seller, customer support rep).
Each rank gets different features:
powerleveler gets access to view powerleveling orders, where they can communicate with the buyer and keep them updated on the progress, etc...
gold seller gets access to view gold orders, where they can communicate with the buyer to set up a meeting point
customer support reps get access to view general inquiries and all tickets. They make the sale then once the buyer pays they send the order out to the respective department.

- admins can edit buy price/sell price for gold, as well as update stock.
- admins can view/add/delete workers
- admins can edit the price (GP/XP) for each powerleveling skill

That looks clean and awesome mate.
That would go for an easy $250 (low end)- $500 (High end).
You could also rent it out and charge a monthly rental and upkeep for an easy $40 a month adding small customized features.

 

It's fairly basic, I'd say it's more so valued at around $350, however that's a base price, with some improvements I feel it could be valued at $500-1k+ i.e. removal of the Captcha (since nobody wants to complete a captcha to place an order), possibly adding something like a coupon system (I don't see that in your images), the ability to view registered customers (from your admin dashboard) etc...

The captcha is to stop people from fucking with the site owners (placing multiple orders and then not paying, etc.) as the payment is processed during the live chat, and not when you click Buy. (The rep sends a message listing the payment methods, and then provides the customer with the payment details (pp email, btc address, etc...) during the live chat).

As for registrations, the site doesn't support registrations. I figured customers wouldn't want to sign up on gold selling sites anyways? When you order you're given an order id which you can then use to re-access your order, view the chat with the customer representative, and reply to the chat (assuming the ticket hasn't been closed by the rep). The order ID is saved as a cookie so you can re-open the chat at any time without providing your order ID assuming you haven't cleared your cookies. I can add a user registration pretty easily if the person that ends up purchasing this requires one.

Hey there, providing payment details in chat is not a good idea, by making the customer log in, send the payment, choose to select a certain currency and then pressing send is just a barrier. Why would you create a barrier for the customer when they could just click 3 buttons, continue, login and pay now? Making the process take a mere 10 seconds as opposed to 90 seconds?

I understand the average customer might not want to make an account on the gold site, and although that is a good point, you should still leave the option there. If the customer doesn't want to create an account, they can just go via a guest checkout, by them making an account, they can easily access all their transactions in a user panel as opposed to viewing each unique ticket ID one by one.

Thanks for the feedback. Going to add in a registration system as you’ve proposed, as well as the coupon system. I’ll also work on the checkout to make it smoother and remove any “barriers”.

And of course if I ever finish the website (front end and back end) and it’s put up for sale, I’ll have some trusted users go through the code to prove that there is no backdoor or any fishy code.

 

Looks very functional although basic, if you would like to increase the value I would add a theme to the site to make it unique
