That's just what I was going to say, this argument isn't going to change a thing. Anyway, I worry most about McCain's volatile VP Sarah Palin succeeding him. We all know our country would be doomed if that happened. And McCain isn't for energy independence nor a steady stop to the war in Iraq. And he's voted with Bush what is it, 90% of the time? Why in the world would you want that? The ball's rolling downhill, all McCain/Palin are going to do is push it harder.

    Come

    Help

    A

    N (Black dude)

    Get

    Elected

I'm still voting for him though, he seems much less of an asshole, and seems to have compassion for the middle/low class people.

Oh and The Bush administration lowered taxes soo much  !

McCain(Duplicate of Bush) and Obama are both puppets of the elite.

If I could vote, I would vote Ron Paul, if not him, I would not vote at all.

But if I REALLY REALLY REALLY had to chose one, I would go with Obama.

Do you agree that withdrawing from the war, saving your country billions of dollars a month, is a stupid thing?

Besides, Obama is a history-maker, assuming he got into office. He's going to be quite protected.

That's applying his color, none of that.

Obama will just be another president, he seems lot like Jimmy Carter to me.

McCain is more like Reagan than Bush, anywase.

I'm guessing your going to choose the president that plays dirty and in his own campaign ads, "bash" Obama's actions he is said to do after he wins office and doesn't put his own ideas in them?

And the one that will practically DROP-DEAD in less than 2 years? I mean, 3 strokes? I think some people have their limits.

Plus, I think pulling out of the war doesn't mean we can't beat them, it simple means we don't want to get into foreign affairs when we can't even solve issues in our own land. We are the main ones contributing to this "guerrilla warfare".

Bashing the opponents is fair play. Kerry did it, Gregoire did it, Rossi did it, Bush did it, Biden does it, etc. Bashing opponents is nothing new, I assure you.

And sure, if he drops dead in 2 years, so be it. We have the first female president.

Go tell the Iraqi citizens we're pulling out. See what they do. We give them food, and water. We help them. We fight for them. And, I'd rather have my military kill Islamic Fascists over there, than have their Islamic Fascists murder us over here.

Obama is not raising taxes for people who make under 250,000 a year. He actually seems like a cool guy that isn't going to die the day after he is accepted into office. McCain is just to old, leads like bush, and is creepy.

    Also, I lol'd At C.H.A.N.G.E.

Reagan was older than McCain is, and he was shot in the torso while in office, and survived.

McCain is creepy? Look at Bidens smile.. it's the "I'm going to kill you and rape your corpse.." smile o_O

And raising taxes based on income, is wrong. Totally wrong. Why tax people who try to succeed? What's up with that?

Are you implying that people in poverty don't try to get out of it? I'm going to assume that you have never been in that situation because it's hell on earth.

People that make over 250,000 a year won't be effected as much by taxes as those in poverty. They can take a blow.

My family makes around 50k a year.
But still, I wouldn't want my friends to be taxed when I'm not. It's not fair.
Let's point towards the projects in my city. About 1k people living there, all together, mother, child, baby, father, etc. Most people have been living there for about 10 years+
My family lived there when I was born up until I was 5. Then we moved, and started renting an actual house.

Yes, people do try. But there's an awful lot of people who don't.

Frankly, I don't care. I make about 200k a year, and even though Obama's plan says I don't get my taxes raised, I could tolerate them, and would'nt moan and bitch about it,like most of you.

People that are in poverty deserve much more sympathy than you and I, and not caring in the least possible (like you are implying) is just malevolent. It's not like some don't try, either.

"That guy over there lost his job to asians. I'm plenty wealthy, though, and I could spare a buck or two. But I think I'll just let him rot in his cardboard house."

Thats a fucking great way to think about it, huh, Shredderbeam?

You could? That's fantastic. Mind your own affairs, and I'll mind mine.

They do not deserve more sympathy. Why would they?

Not caring is malevolent? I'm not harming them in any way. I'm simply ignoring them. Whether or not I am on the scene does not affect their misery.

Actually, it is a great way to think about it. I am not morally responsible for others.

Neither of the candidates want to raise EVERYONE's taxes.

The only difference is who they want to give tax cuts to - the middle class (Obama) or the upper class and large corperations (McCain).

That sort of taxation punishes the poor for being poor.
