I didn't say rap takes no skills. How about learn real music? Try playing actual guitar, bass, drums... And don't just play like you saw "t3h hurmn lee in dragunforc" play, actually play something. It's harder than rapping. In my opinion, rapping is not really that important. And by the way, learn to make sense when you talk. Slang makes you look like a fucking poser. Kay? A little tip.

Screamo: Not much to say... It's just a bland, fabricated music made to be all the same and nothing is out of the ordinary. Same guitar lines, bass lines, drum lines, and vocals. Everyone has the same solo, their guitars tuned the same, the bass lines are involving no skill, and the vocals are all "RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH she goes down omfg".

Industrial: Just plain old noise.

Seriously...gtfo. You don't even know what ska is. It has guitar, it has bass, and it has drums, the three things rock has...w/ more of a kick than rock w/ its brass section.

 

I agree with Pwnage, and also, for the punk sertion, Billy Joe whatshisface is far from punk, don't judge the genre on what the confused kids today think it is.

And I'm not a poser, I'm pointing out just how shitty this music is that people listen to. I don't think it can be classified as music, there's about 5 types of screamo songs. There's the ones all-scream, there's 50/50 scream/wailing, 25/75 scream/wailing, 75/25 scream/wailing and all wailing.

I can listen to it, but I prefer other types of metal to metalcore, what you posted isn't really typical screamo, especially Atreyu (which is of course, metalcore).

Everyone can have an opinion, Reappeh. Respect that. I _hate_ listening to Ska. I think it sucks balls. However that doesn't stop the people who do listen to it from listening to it. It is their free will, and their choice to. Musical opinion is not defined by one soul person.
