Prayer leveling or not

So I have a 61 attack, 80 str pure with 1 prayer (1 def ofc) and wondering if I should level prayer to 43? Please reply thanks

 

I'd say the question is to go to 52 or not to. 43 Prayer can be useful for protect from melee when looting but that's about it. 52 Prayer allows you to smite out their protect an item spell so as to get the valuable spec weapon or whatever goodies they are protecting. If not, just stay 1 defense and avoid the whole extra combat levels.

 

52 Prayer is almost a must on a higher leveled pure. 9/10 people you fight will have 52 prayer so they will have the advantage.

Just to back them up, i agree that if your going to get 43 prayer, you might as well just get the whole 52 for smite. Anyway, locked as you made the decision.
