Potential BP nerf?

I've seen people talk about the blowpipe may be nerfed, on a numerous of streams and also on reddit?

whats your thoughts about the BP currently does it need a nerf? or should other weapons be adjusted accordingly or maybe rise the bp ti a t80 weapon?

I feel that Bp accuracy will be nerfed when they decide to reduce the accuracy that black d hide gives. How much? I'm not sure, but considering it's on par with a 1.2bil weapon for dps I'm sure it's going to be substantial.

Nerfing the BP would just make the tbow even more powerful than it already it?

I mean ture, but tbow is a 1.2bil weapon...do you think a 1.2bil weapon should be on par with a weapon thats 5m? the t bow is 240x more valuable than the bp, to be on par in a lot of situations with a 5m weapon is kinda nuts. Don't get me wrong, i use the bp all day. Just trying to see it from another view point.

If they nerfed blow pipe it will be stupid. It's been out so long and nerfing it would drop the price to dirt cheap. Changing the item that's been the meta for so much shit would kinda ruin it. No BP at vork so it's either DHCB or Rune CB. Fight caves would be slow, raids would take longer, I dont think it's a good thing to do. Especially when jagex nerfs or buffs things into oblivion, i bet they make it useless.

Yea i can see your point, the inferno would also get a lot harder with out the blowpipe, and the meta for a lot of things would change completely.

the only reason for the bp being that low is that a lot higher number of blowpipes enter the game each day, since zulrah is heavily botted. theres only a few tbows that enters the game, if the blowpipe was a drop from raids 1/2 the price would probably be around 300-400m imo

Late for a bp nerf. I would like to see tbow prices go back up though...

It's not the items fault that the boss was made easy enough to bot, etc.

If the item was harder to obtain it would be fine, it was a bad idea to have something so powerful from the start but at least it costs
some money over time. The only thing I think they can do to fix this is maybe make it cost more to use, perhaps they could add
something else that is needed to fire it, or make it cost 4x as many scales to use, etc.
