'PostMaster' Email Scam - Possibly - Check Please

Received this email



Is it a common scam, or is someone actually trying to access my email account. I'm a little worried. Haven't clicked any links which it leads me to.

Anyone?

I believe it to be a scam, looks a little fishy.

I actually always get this. And another one telling me to reset my password.

SPAM.

 

I suggest you just ignore it, maybe report it if you're that serious

 

Most likely nothing to worry about. Even if it was someone trying to access your account, they're not doing a very good job by basically asking you to give them your password.

Just think if it this way, if you didn't try to reset your password, should you click the link? Nah.

Plus, password resets are for when you forget your password, and are sent to alternative e-mail addresses, wouldn't make much sense to send the reset request to an e-mail you cant access now would it? This is most likely someone trying to get you to click the link and either download a keylogger or RAT, or someone trying to get you to type in your e-mail and password into a box.

 

I've had a similar email, nothing came of it though.
