Split employment listings thread

As it currently stands, the employment listings thread looks very disorganized.


It should be split into two threads: one for those looking for work and the other for employment offers.

 

No support for two reasons:

1) It's a thread. How does it look "disorganized"? You literally only have two options: Hiring or looking for work. You look through the posts and look at what they're offering. Also, it only has 60 replies, if you're that lazy to sift through them that's your fault.

2) The OP clearly states the form that must be filled. Anything in excess isn't the fault of the thread having 2 options but rather just how long in reality the post is. It won't look any less disorganized if it was split into two threads.

I've always thought that services hiring should be allowed to make a regular thread. Anyone else who is seeking employment can post in the sticky instead (as that made up the bulk of the spam in that section).

 

Certain upper staff members seem to be adamantly against allowing people to post regular threads offering employment listings, so splitting the current thread would be a fair (and probably the only possible) compromise.

 

There are only a few of these threads at a time, it doesn't clutter the section at all. Two stickies would be weirder/a worse solution.

 

This has been brought up a numerous of times. Superman was accepting of a sub forum just for employment threads, but Roary didn't want that. I can't find the thread showing you their exact posts.

 

My guess is it's probably a matter of activity; not THAT many people are hiring. I'd support this, and I'd support a subforum too. There's considerable demand for it.
