Any idea on the best way to advertise a channel? I am serious about putting out quality content, but no matter how much I spam people it doesn't seem to get me anywhere :s

Would it be too personal to give us a range for the amount of subs you have? ie 2000-3000, 10000-15000, etc. I'm just curious at what stage of YouTubing does it become "good money".

Your subscriber count doesn't really factor into the amount of money you make, video views are where the money is.

To give you an idea, I average about 5k views per video.

As backwards as this sounds, I can tell you that networking is infinitely more important than the quality of your actual content.

A few things that have helped me:

• Send friend requests (now called "contact" requests) to individuals posting on videos that are similar to your own.
• Reach out to as many larger channels as you can. Most will ignore you, but some will actually check out your content and help you grow if they like you.
• Once you have a decent friend/contact base, you can start sharing your videos, which, to my surprise, was actually a relatively effective way to garner video views and new subscribers.

When I was hacked about 2 weeks ago the person deleted my youtube account... I had around 150k upload views between like 2 videos lol.

Does anyone know if there is anyway to reinstate an account?
