How fast do you drive on the highway and city?

Highway : 45

When I'm in a hurry, I drive a little bit faster but otherwise...


I pass by cops all the time and they don't even care and its very relaxing and fun to drive slow.

Really depends where I'm going or if I'm in a hurry or not. Usually I drive 65-70 MPH on the highway and whatever the speedlimit is in the city.

The speed limit on highways in Atlanta is 65-70, so I usually drive 75-80.

350 miles when light turn on and that's approx 13 gallons= 350 miles

 

14.2 gallons, and 45 miles to the gallon now. So 639 miles

On city streets and such where the limit is 35 MPH, I drive 40-60 MPH, depending on the area and cops in the area.

On the freeway, or highway, its usually a 55 or 65 limit, I drive probably 60-100ish depending on the area and the traffic.

I've already got 2 speeding tickets to my name .

2 tickets ... you should pay to go to school to get them off your record.

 

I'm pretty good at driving the speed limit, but typically I am cruising along at 50-60 km/h in the city.

As for the highway, I usually drive 10-20 over the speed limit depending on the area, how wide that section of highway is, etc. When it comes down to it, I am not really a big speed demon.. I prefer to drive safe.

 

Thinking about it, this is how I drive.

On the interstate highway near me the speed limit is 65. I usually go 70 because 75+ goes beyond 3 on my rpm meter, so it would be a waste of gas to drive any faster. A bunch of times if I am in a hurry or just want to get home really fast, I drive usually at like 95 (100 mph breaks 4 on my rpm meter). A few times I didn't give a fuck and just hit 115 on my car, which is my car's 'safety' limit before it stops feeding gas to my engine.

I usually drive the speed limit everywhere else - sometimes faster, sometimes slower. It depends really. I try and conserve gas so I try and drive below 2 on my rpm meter for my car, which goes past 2 after hitting 50 mph.

 

It all depends really if it was late at night, driving through the city I would ve driving maybe 40 mph, although during the day it is usually hard to even reach 30, but I wouldn't go over 30 if anyone was about.

Motorway I usually do between 70-100, depending on conditions and if im in a hurry. I have pushed 122 just to see what I can do, when the roads are quite empty of course.

Getting about 42mpg motorway, 30ish in the city.

 

well being as i live in the country, i normally drive about 80MPH in a 65 zone, about 70 in a 55 and about 55 in a 45.

 

wow pretty amazing i heard if u go over 55+ your wasting more gas.

but then gas is so damn expensive in my area 4.30!!! one way to reduce the price of gas is get a 5% gas cash back card

 

I drive whatever it says on the speed limit.

 

I usually go 9 over whatever is posted, which is 35/55 in most areas. I go 80-83 on highways if it's posted as 70.
