Post per day question

I was thinking about renting out my signature as many members do and I was a little concerned about my ppd, because it seems like a lot of people selling their sig space use it as an example. I have had this account for quite some time and as such my post count is .3.

In order to weight it, I would have to post a fucking shit ton which would all be spam. Is there any way to reset it or should I just not pay attention to it? I belong to another forum that I've been a member on since 2009 and have 11k+ posts and have not been active for over 2 years or so and my post per day is still hovering around 4.5.

 

You can't reset your ppd, but a lot of people also let you advertise based on your total posts. check out RS3HOT and RuneWealth! ^_^

 

In addition, take note of the posts you have today. Actively participate for a week and take the number of posts you have then. Subtract the end result with the beginning result and divide by 7. You'll have your current average ppd. You may want to mention that when looking for someone to rent your sig space.

 

That's pretty much a similar boat to me. I'm reasonably active on Sythe at the moment, but my PPD is little over 2.5 due to the fact that I was inactive for a large period of time. Just show the people that you're advertising too that you have a lot of recent posts over the last few days, link them to your "Latest Posts" link through your profile and they should be able to notice that.
