Post count does not matter?

Its not the post that matters its the vouches

 

Quote for the truth, I see many members in 09 in Oct, June, with 1k post counts already and I've been using Sythe for 3 years and haven't reached near 1k posts.

 

Alright, thats a little overboard. Some people are more active in the community than others. Just because you cant manage 1-2 posts a day, doesnt mean that someone else should be trusted because they can.

 

I have found it rather hard to get people to trade with me since I'm newer.

 

I don't care about post counts, all I care is having fun on this forum.

 

you can't place trust on someone because of their post count soley.

check previous history.

That's how I am, I don't have a high post count just because I usually only post my other contact info. lol

 

I'd say my vouches is pretty decent for my posts o:

 

I'd say join date also matters a lot.

 

I personally look at join date + vouches over post count.

However someone with like 5k+ posts, clearly would not want to lose their account over a little trade.

 

Let me put this out there;

I've been a member of this forum for many years, and have had a decent amount of succesful transactions.
But I never bugged people to make a vouch for me, and I barely have any postcount because I don't post unless I am directly interested in a trade.

How does this help define my reliability?

 

To be honest I just come here and read, and post when i feel i have something important to say / Want to post in the topic. And in previous communities I've been in, postcount was shit there. There were people with 5k+ posts, scamming like mad. Sad part, 90% of their vouches were from people who just got to the site. And nobody ever looked into who the people he was trading with really were. Just people that wanted free services, Always check the past history of their trades, PM someone even and ask how the trade went. If it seems even a little sketchy then TWC. But honestly, in communities, Join date - Vouches are the only thing that matters, to me anyway. Also past trade history is a MAJOR one.

Edit: As you can see I don't really post much. Just like seeing what other people have to trade/say.

Post count counts a little, but it's still helping us to make decision.

 

vouches are more important than posts, but nobody ever asks for vouches, they look for post count >.> fail.

 

In my opinion post counts are just an object to judge how long someone has been on sythe.

So in turn people think the more posts you have the longer you have been on sythe the more they can trust you.

It's semi true but as you said scammers try to get their post count up to get trusted.

I personally say who gives a shit about post count and judge them by PROVABLE vouches and trustworthiness yeah?

 

depends, i wouldent trade with a leecher with like 54 vouches, it would steem strange..

 

Good vouches and good posts are a good combination.

Join date is good, posts is OK I guess, Vouches, Only 3, The second one isn't a proper vouch as it doesn't link too where the person said the vouch, the first one is a banned member.
