Possible xp-rollback on my account?

My account was being botted on by a member here for the past week and it made it up to 3.9m xp. Today after the latest update, I checked the highschores, adv. log, and a skill calculator for xp till next level. They all had the level back to 84 which is what it was 2 days ago. I know it was 86/7 today because I check the hs every few hours and it just said 3.9m about 6 hours ago.

Maybe im just crazy.

 

there have been several rollbacks, mostly in agility because its so easy because theres no combat/money to deal with.

I was 87 mining before, and now im 84. This is where I was about 2 days ago.

been botting from 60 so Im not sure why it was only recently moved back. and it was being botted 400kxp a day.

 

There have been a bunch of cases of level reseting but that should not be confused with a roll back

 

Roll back refers to them rolling back the entire game to several hours beforehand, and they only do it in cases of extreme bug exploitation, like the 1m Dung exp/hr bug.

 

On the forums I've seen multiple cases on this. All of them were not abusing glitches or botting. I wonder why...

 

because they lied on the fourms,
if it says you leveled up in your adv log and the level shows differently, then it was indeed a fail reset but if the levels match up your bot may have messed up.

 

Same happened to me. I looked at the hiscores and I'm lvl 89 Woodcutting and yet I'm online and I'm still level 90. On the hiscores I have like 100k xp less, but I still have the xp when I log in.

Might be a glitch when they uploaded their new website or something.

Yeah lots of roll backs; if you search the RS Forums for "stats reset" or "Skill reset" you see lots and lots of people have been posting about them; it's funny how they all swear they weren't botting lol.

The J/F-mods usually just lock the thread, and suggest they submit a bug report.

 

The highscores do not update until you have logged out. Then refresh the highscore page.

However, this does not answer why there may be rollbacks occuring.

 

I got to 90 about 16 hours ago, I logged out. I know that they refresh when you log out... >_>
Still, it appears 89 in the hiscores.

They didn't roll that back. It was exploited for weeks before it was resolved so i'm sure they didn't roll the game back days.

A full server roll back mainly happens when a lot of money is brought into the game via a serious account of bug abuse. Such as the Dragon Bolt dupe.

I think you're mixing it up with the rc xp glitch during the first few hours after Dung's release? That was Rs's first ever rollback.

They didn't rollback the 1m dung xp/hr glitch.

They have been resetting the stats of individual accounts though.
