The Vouch system

So as far as I know, when someone scams, the victim is completely screwed. (Unless scammer pays back for unban) I feel as if buyers should have more protection and that can be done through a revamp of the vouch system! What I have in mind is that we can start to implement a system where people can “vouch x amount.” That way, if someone scams, the vouchers are to pay back the victim in equal distribution. For example, Player A Scams Player B for 10m and has A vouch of 70m and a vouch of 30m, the vouch of 70m would be held responsible for 70% (7m) of the scam amount with a maximum of 70m and the vouch of 30m would be held responsible for 30%(3m) of the scam amount with a maximum of 30m. Now, how do we hold vouchers accountable? We only allow donors to give vouches. For example, $5+ donor has maximum vouch of 4m, $25+donor has maximum vouch of 20m, etc. The system would not force all vouches to be this way. For example, can say “did my firecape quick and easy” (not accountable) or “did my firecape vouching 5m” (accountable). It would technically just be an add on to what we already have, but provides buyers a more general idea of how much someone can really be trusted. Like I have seen vouches from people who did a service with payment upfront. (Is this really a vouch if the person receiving vouch did nothing requiring trust?) However, if you were to notice that a lot of vouches are lettung themselves be held accountable for person receiving vouch, then easier to trust, and if shit goes to hell, the people will back up the amount u were scammed
