[DENIED] Pokemon MiniRank Idea

Hey! Pokemon MiniRank is quite popular...

Pokemon Minirank are pretty limited (CDT Event or Chose a Minirank Reward)
So something getting the right Pokemon Minirank

The main goal in a Pokemon games, movie, Board game, etc...... is the make your Pokemon stronger with evolution...

So my idea is, the possible to upgrade Pokemon MiniRank in exchange of a fee (SG?/BTC?) That could help for the repayment funds (maybe a $10 fees for an evolution or something like that)

Maybe people will not like this idea, but would bring some money to repay people that got scam.

 

This is a neat concept.

If it could be implemented in the upcoming User Center 7 and the funds go for a good cause, I would support this idea. Don't see any issues with it

 

I support this. It's a simple concept yet an effective concept. I don't see any reason why we can't do this.
The only way I find this working though is to implement a set of Pokemon miniranks that aren't made available yet.
People have paid a lot of money etc. for a Charizard mini-rank. I doubt they would like to see someone buying a Charmander minirank to only have to pay $20 to evolve it into a Charizard mini-rank though. That would be unfair. However, If we bring in a set of Pokemon miniranks we do not yet have on Sythe. Then this would be an amazing way to earn money for the community refund.

To be honest, If we implement a new set of Pokemon mini-ranks to Sythe. Then this idea shouldn't be a problem. It's a great earner for the community refund & it's a bit of fun also.

 

No take, personally - but will leave some thoughts. I am not a pokemon fan and never was, but I see the value in them here on-site and how much some people love them. I think it would be pretty hard to implement/acquire. I like how there are basically only 1 of each pokemon rank, it keeps them valued. Kind of like Sundialing said, if someone paid a lot for the Charizard mini, they would be bothered if another user 'upgraded' a Charmander into their expensive Charizard for little cost - especially SG.

I am personally more for something cool like RS related minis, such as the range of bronze-> dragon med helm minis - upgraded through various ways. or other various RS items. I think it's fair to say that most of this community is RS related, although the same cannot be said for Pokemon.

The only pokemon suggestion I'd be willing to agree with is cleaning up certain pokemon mini ranks. Some are smaller than the rest and look like complete shit. The 3 legendary birds are a great example of this.

 

no support. just going to screw over people who have the highest evolution already. its rng opening prizeboxes and a free market for trading. lets keep it that way.

on another note, I think @Max has a good idea. could implement a few new runescape minis like bronze med helm or defenders. and to upgrade each tier you need to pay a fee (goes to community repayment) and/or meet a requirement of some sort.

 

I agree. I have seen such things just like that on Twitch streams. Rigondeaux (Twitch) has a hierarchy of Bronze-Dragon med Helms for length of subscription. Since Sythe doesn't have a monthly payment system like Twitch or TheTechGame, these ranks could be given out based on tenure on site - this would be voided if you received a ban/pardon - making you permanently ineligible. These are all just ideas, but basically:

Rather than evolution of the prized pokemon miniranks on site, make an evolution of RuneScape items into miniranks. Ideas - the 4 godswords, different levels of stacks of GP, etc.

 

i think there's way too many miniranks. i think there should be less and they should be exclusive, harder to get and more valuable.

When a evolution is made, you dont keep the pokemon that you do the evolution, not sure if everyone saw my idea this way, no pokemon mini rank would be added in a way

 

In a way, more Charizard , but less Charmeleon and Charmander (What I saw charmander and Charmeleon are pretty much the same price as Charizard)

Anyway, my idea is more a way to gain money for scammed people that for the Minirank economy

 

No support, devalues a lot of mini's.

 

Much like the other minirank suggestions, we have no current plans to expand the amount of them. We are looking for ways to reduce the number in circulation. There is also the concern of devaluing certain sought after minis, which we would try and avoid. I do really like the idea and think its quite unique, and could potentially be implemented in the future.
