Setup:

- Run Necrobot.exe (to create auth.json file)
- Go to Necrobot/Config/ and open the Auth.json with either notepad, notepad++ or Microsoft Visual Studio
Auth Type: change to either "google" or "ptc"
and then fill in either your google or ptc details.

READ: This bot does not have its own UI to configure it, all configuration is done in the config.json file. Upon opening Necrobot.exe, the bot will automaticly start.

- Open PogoLocationFeeder.GUI.exe and Necrobot.exe

Note: If you have pokemon you do not want to have transfered(because they have good moves), you will have to add them to the "PokemonNotToTransfer" list or modify settings in the PokemonTransferFilter in the config.json file of Necrobot. Keep in mind that if you catch a lot of pokemons that are on the PokemonNotToTransfer list your pokemon inventory could get full, you will have to manually transfer the pokemon of that type incase that happens.

Giving this a test now and so far so good.

Every now and then while using necro it will stop and require another keypress which kinda sucks, do you know of any way to stop this happening or to just auto continue?

Also getting complete crashes by think that's more my end issue.

 

Haven't encountered the keypress thing yet but the random crashes appaer to be a known issue. People are using an additional program to keep their bots running 24/7. Looking into that right now

I'm kinda just doing this entirely under the assumption that trading will eventually make it into the game. May as well do it while it works I guess.

 

Curious... When it runs of pokeballs what does it do?

 

It's set to farm central park with like 10+ Pokestops there, so it farms until it has 100 Pokeballs, uses them then farms pokestops again from what I gather.

im really new to the pogo botting havent tested much out for myself yet, but question is the bot programed to evolve all the pidgys after a certain point, what about current pidgys in my backpack. Also what about egg hatching, will it transfer new pokemon from egg hatchs?

 

As of right now I think it's only set to transfer certain pokemon so anything you hatch from an Egg gets kept. (I've not seen it transfer anything outside of my pidgeys weedles and caterpies)

It will evolve them at a point, I'm not 100% sure what point that is yet as one of the bots i'm running has done 2 batches of evolving while one hasn't done any. It may be waiting to obtain a lucky egg (I've not actually looked over the config file in too much detail yet)

 

I'd disable sniping if I were you. That'll incur more of a wrath than anything else from the game creators.

 

Thanks for this. Only issue I found with this is after it runs out of pokeballs it starts to use all of my great balls/ultra balls before it begins to collect more pokeballs from pokestops.

 

well opened the bot first thing it did was transfer some pokemon, oh well time to bot them back i guess not a problem at all since only end game mons matter.

ok one thing i found the bot will not evolve any pokemon unless you have a lucky egg, and you also have to manually transfer pokemon when its full since it doesnt evolve.

 

Yea I've just observed the same issue on one of my accounts, i'm not exactly sure why that is happening. It should only use great & ultra balls on pokemon with either a certain cp/IV or below x% catch probability. Might be a bit annoying if you intentionally saved up great/ultra balls. I'm personally not too concerned about it, you'd still be able to farm them back quite easily if you really need them.
I'll see if there's anything we can do to prevent that from happening.

You shouldn't have to do anything manually though :/. Eventually they'll get evolved

Yea when it does that, just let it run, eventually it'll evolve them. And it seems you're right about the egg being required, for some odd reason lol.

Running 10 bots right now, averaging 150-200k xp/hour, those at 100-120k xp/hour haven't evolved pokemon yet, when they do, their xp/hour will get closer to 200k or above.

 

Is it possible to get this working on a mac? Via VM or wine or anything? Will pay someone $ if they can get me set up. Cheers

We can always make one for it, my concern is that they've apparently stopped supporting it because of the lead developer's dispute over how donations are being used?
