It seems Niantic have a new security update that is flagging users who use this bot.

 

Regarding my previous post, it seems that Niantic are flagging users who are consistently botting over a certain speed. It's being recommended that users set the speed to 5km/h.

Would just setting your acc name/avatar before you use the bot solve that?

 

I've been flagged twice for going at 19. The recommended speed at the moment is 5, however I haven't used it since the second flagging incident.

Incidentally if you do get flagged, it will look like you've been soft banned (not getting items from pokestops) or it won't be able to find nearby stops period. Apparently waiting 5-10 minutes and then running the bot again fixes this issue. With the new "don't drive while playing pokemon go message", it could just be that they're trying to stop people from driving and playing at the same time.

@Gracious I haven't had any further problems since I set the bot to 4km/h.

Apparently there's 2 known bugs.
1. is the map throwing exceptions
2. is the pokemon iv% not displaying

Was it one of those?

 

Just the bot not working/force unban not doing its job. I'll let you know how it goes though, started the bot.

 

Make sure the map has loaded before you press "force unban" or it won't work.

if you were softbanned, you'd see something like the following:

Notice how the pokestops don't have any xp gained or items received in the above example. So force unban won't do anything in this instance since you're not softbanned.

As for not doing anything, how long does this last for?
