Pokemon Go 0.35 for PC Client -- Play Pokemon Go in any city -- SythePoke v0.9 (updated 7 September)

UPDATE: SythePoke 0.9 MEGA <-- reads the compass and translates arrow to the direction you are facing. ( If you are a new user ignore this and read below. )

This is an alpha release.

This client is a bundled pre-prepared android emulator called NOX with Pokemon Go already installed on it (and it autoboots). The client is a piece of code I've written to adjust your GPS location in the game using the arrow keys on your keyboard.


Instructions:
1. Download the SythePoke Zip and unzip it somewhere convenient.
Download: MEGA <-- this is updated to Pokemon Go 0.35 with SythePoke 0.9 in it


That's it. To run double click SythePoke.exe

Warnings:
This client bundles a third party android phone emulator called NOX. I have scanned and used this product personally however I cannot vouch for it as I did not write it. Please satisfy yourself using your own virus scanner.

Use a new google account, not your main Pokemon Go account. We do not know if this is bannable at this stage.

Let me know if you have bug reports.

Notes:
Google ``hardware accelerated virtualization`` for your computer. Enabling this will make the game run A LOT faster.

Tutorial to change your city after you already set it:
Warning don't change your city unless you absolutely have to because you risk a ban.
1. Close both the nox window and sythe poke window.
2. Open regedit (start -> type regedit -> press enter -> accept the warning)
3. Use the folders to find HKEY_CURRENT_USER -> SOFTWARE -> SythePoke
4. Open the SythePoke registry key (folder).
5. Delete the "lat" and "lng" keys on the right hand side by selecting them and pressing delete.

Now when you reopen the client it will ask you for your city again.

Troubleshooting:
If you end up getting a 99% load error like many people do take this advice:
"If you are running Nox on 64 bit Windows systems, check if there’s a Bignox folder under C:\Program Files (x86). If YES, double click uninst under C:\Program Files (x86)\Bignox and restart Nox."

 

To change your GPS location follow these steps:

Edit: as of v0.8 this won't work anymore. Instead use the city reset tutorial at the bottom of the OP

1. Close SythePoke.exe (the black window) this won't close the NOX emulator, your game will keep running.
2. Open the GPS editor on the right hand side of nox, it looks like a map marker.
3. Change your location by clicking in the map where you'd like to be.
4. Find the invisible 'OK' button at the bottom right of the map window and click it
5. Reopen SythePoke.exe
6. It should spit out a line like 'entries: 40.7639 : -73.95996' meaning that its locked on to your new location

 

I'm going to update the client shortly to
1. Remember your GPS location
2. Allow you to select a starting city

 

I dont think you need a google account if you use the poketrainer login thing?

Also I have no idea if it works on a mac. One way to find out.

To anyone having trouble with their location:
I've just uploaded v0.5 of the client (link in OP) which has a city selector.
