Regional Exclusive Pokemon

Has anyone else noticed their Regional Exclusive Pokemon spawning everywhere like crazy.

This was today in Sydney, Australia where Kangaskhans took over our city.



Anyone else experienced this?

 

yeah im pretty sure there are pokemon only available in certain regions unless you hatch them from a 10km egg.

 

Yeah wasn't just Kanga, the other 3 were spawning everywhere too (in their regions).

 

What app is this?

 

Yeah there are some pokemons that are only region only, like Tauros for NA , Farfetch for Asia , Kanga for Australia , something like that. You could also get them from eggs too though if you're not from the region

 

Yeh I understand how the Regional Pokemon work I just mean the spawn rates for them used to be extremely rare now they are spawning like crazy. Wondered if anyone had any information as to why this is happening?

using pokemongocheck/vision on my computer, but if I'm out on my iPhone I use an app called PokeAlert

 

yes kanga everywhere in brisbane / gold coast lately too

 

I've also experienced this, they're starting to be more common.

 

Kanga is pretty exclusive to sydney apparently.

Saw some bloke on the telly travel to sydney to come catch one lol.

 

Fkn heaps of them in WA also

 

Has it been confirmed that this method works?

 

yeah so many.

• Tauros: North America
• Mr. Mime: Western Europe
• Kangaskhan: Australia / New Zealand
• Farfetch'd: Asia

they all hatch from 5km eggs my previous post saying 10km was wrong.

 

I'm almost certain you can't hatch other regional Pokemon from eggs is this true?

Does anyone else thing this kind of sucks as it devalues these once exclusive Pokemon, Kangaskhans are the new Zubats for me now lol.

 

on the pokemon go wikia it says you can but i'm pretty sure its not true. so i may be wrong.
