Playing SDMM just to swap

I was planning on playing SDMM for 2 days to try to make as much GP to swap over whilst rates are still high and for me to have some left over for my long-term plan for SDMM.

I was wondering if anyone thought of any new methods to make like 1-2m within the first 10 hours they would like to share here or in PM.

Or I was looking for people who wanted to work together to make GP for example raising herblore fast (1 gathers herbs, 1 gathers secondaries, 1 makes the potions at ge)

There's plenty of 07 GP to make if organised correctly

Yes, this is exactly what I do every season with my friend, it is only worth playing the first 3-4 days so you can make 30-40m 07.

 

Last season someone swapped just over 2m for like 140m and all they did was crafting up to blue dragonhide sets. Just depends on the swapper and how long the season has been running it can fluctuate a lot

If you have a few accounts, you could try training agility and then doing the agility pyramid simultaneously. Probably would need 3-4 accounts to do get 2m in 10 hours. It is also safe because the artifacts (that you trade in for 10k) are initially untradable so you pick them back up if killed.
~50-55 agil on each so then it's not too annoying.

the seasonal should start about 8PM BST tomorrow

That's a good idea actually but I heard it can get camped quite quickly so wouldn't want to go back to get the artefact to not be able to pick it up because of instant death

I feel like this isn't just you, it is the majority of osrs, nobody rally intends to win the actual tournament like boaty always says, its more of reaping all the benefits you can.

 

Rates already went down from 1:100 to 1:40-50 within the first day of the season so it looks like it will stabilize pretty low. Don't even know if it will be worth it to just swap the GP... Maybe you will get lucky and get a actual good drop that you can sell for some nice GP.

This is pretty much the best part of any new server or new game mode.

I have always considered trying it but the timing just never quite lines up for me to try it out.

Though I'd imagine RC would be difficult, given you'd have to harvest all that ess.
