PlayerAuctions won't release funds

I sold an Account on PlayerAuctions 2 weeks ago from today and had an old phone number on the account.

I tried changing it using their support was told the next day by the staff to send in ID confirmation to change my number. It's now been 12 Days without a reply, what do I do?

Do I continue to wait or do I recover the account and sell elsewhere?
Id hate to be the guy who recovers an account as I genuinely do not play anymore and the account was made with the intention of being sold.

If I wait how long should I wait? I've sent them everything they asked for and no reply.

Have you tried explaining the situation to the buyer first - I'd do that before recovering.

 

Yeah I haven't recovered it yet, willing to wait it out longer before doing anything, no set time but don't know situation their end may not have staff available.

I was mainly looking for reassurance but looking online it's a 50-50 split good and bad reviews

 

I know PayPal have starting holding funds for digital game purchases/sales (indefinitely/permanently holding them that is, so the money is essentially gone).

If they are having that issue, your money might be being withheld from them.. and they're likely panicking about it. I know I would be.

The least they could do is reply though - have you explained to them that you will need to recover if held much longer?

 

i have stopped using them as they keep changing hands of ownership and have been more and more annoying to use.

 

Yeah I've sent them excess documents but due to not having a photo ID they cannot let me withdraw funds but I can however spend the amount on the website so going to look into trying to buy something worth the price and resell more than likely on here.

Yup.. Website is very fishy. I wrote a review on them but they try to hide any negative feedback they get (& they get alot)

 

I've only heard bad things about such sites as Playerauctions, that's why I deleted my user and just sold my account here, even it took alot of time.
