    I paid for account insurance. I need to claim it, so I go ahead with the obvious step of disputing. There is no guide on how to dispute it, I have to aks how after the dispute which then you tell that you have closed it this cannot be claimed. Not to forget no guide on how to actually gain the evidence which is no easy task. *Mind blown. WTF is that?

    Their authority on this supersedes mine, so if it can't be reopened by them, I'm very sorry but I won't be able to do anything on this NZ. I really wish I could, but this is up to them :( They really require evidences to be sent during the dispute itself and not after, where the decision is always final and binding.

    Hi playerauctions,

    I have purchased an account with account with You with insurance from a verified seller. The seller has said that if the account gets locked which he suspects it will that he will be able
    To unlock the account. The account is now locked and I've waited 5 days for a reply from the seller but still
    Nothing.

    I tried opening a dispute to get things moving along quicker but for some reason playauctions has closed the dispute before the seller has even said a a word. The person I am dealing with through email is very unhelpful and is providing no insight on how I can obtain my money back. just wondering how I can proceed because the thought of someone walking around with my $120 while I got nothing is pretty poor.

    I registered on your website to sell a single Overwatch account, and after submitting my paypal info, wherever I click I get 404 errors. Can't create a sell thread, can't contact support, nothing. Nickname is the same as here. Please help.

Sorry I hope you don't mind if I post this update here, but the reason your account was suspended is because you apparently used incorrect information on your account, such as bogus real names and address information. I understand that you are just taking care of your privacy, but as a company that receives and processes payments, it's important that the personal information on user accounts are accurate and up-to-date. Kindly email [email protected] and CC [email protected] to request for a real name change, and other information such as the address can be changed from your end.

    Hello RBD19. The new order ID is 3630103, the one you provided was cancelled. As per checking, you were able to make the payment successfully, and it's now the seller's turn to deliver the order. He will be given a deadline based on his delivery guarantee, and if he isn't able to deliver within that, the delivery guarantee will expire the 1st time --- from there, you may choose to cancel the order or continue receiving it. Let me know if you have questions about it.

    Good evening, I am submitting this information as a total breakdown of what happened and resulted in me disputing the transaction for:


    Transaction Amount: $633.63 USD

    Dispute Amount: $633.63 USD

    Transaction ID: 9M74754392513150B

    Transaction Date: July 30, 2017

    On July 30th, 2017, I bought an account on the website PlayerAuctions.com (if you are not familiar, they act as a middle man and offer a seller's protection garauntee if you purchase it in case of a scam,) in which I met the person representing himself as Vincent Veillette. He had an account up for sale that I purchased for the amount listed above, signed for my transaction approval through docusign to confirm it was me making the purchase, and proceeded with the deal. PlayerAuctions then reviews the account to make sure it matches what is listed as the advertisement (or at least they claim they do,) and then they deliver the account information to me and have me confirm that everything matches. I log on the account, the gentlemen hadn't provided all information on the "Additional information" which you will later see me request within the pictures provided below. I verify that everything is on the account that was provided in pictures after getting the bank pin from him on skype, and confirmed I have received the account. Three days go by, and that is when a problem occurred. I went to log in to the account with the username twr_ntp and my password i set it to, and it didn't allow me to log in. When purchasing the account, you have the email set to your paypal email, which in my case would be "[email protected]," however when I went to recover the account, it was registered to the email http://prntscr.com/gvrbl5 shown here. This alone proves I no longer have access to the account. After purchasing the account, I changed the online Alias previewed by other members of the game to "Baeson." As shown here on the hiscores chart, that name no longer exists, meaning the name was changed to the original, or to something else, shown here http://prntscr.com/gvrcf1 . As shown in the pictures below, he has stopped responding to me, and removed me from his friendlist on skype. PlayerAuctions said they cannot accept offsite messages from me and the member as proof, yet the proof i submitted of not having the account was denied as well. They then locked my account when I opened the dispute with you all.

    *KEY FACTORS OF WHY THIS DISPUTE SHOULD RESULT IN FAVOR OF ME REGARDLESS*
    1) To sell an account on playerauctions, you must be the original creator of the account. As shown in the messages, the seller admits to not being the original owner, which would go against selling rules and should disqualify any defense he can offer since the account was subject to be recovered since it wasn't his.
    2) The emails do not match mine anymore that should be registered to the account.
    3) The username changed from mine to something completely different.
    4) I can't log in to the account anymore.
    5) DO NOTE THIS!!! IF, the seller was the original owner of the account, they could recover the account via recovery questions through the appeal site, and have the account returned to me since I claimed I do not have access to the account. PlayerAuctions did not help me get this done, nor did they reach out to the seller to get him to recover the account for me and give it to me since I claimed it had been stolen back. This is 100% proof that both the seller is a scammer, and playerauctions is as well since they did absolutely nothing to get me the account back or my money back.

    An explanation of how trading works:

    PlayerAuctions acts as a middleman. I, the buyer, find an account presented on their website which is posted by the seller, Vincent, and if I decide to purchase the account pending the information provided, I will do so by submitting my payment to playerauctions. They received my payment, and verify the account information the seller provided. Once verified, they send the information to me. I confirm the account pending apporval that everything matches what's shown in the pictures (can't confirm someone who lies about ownership sadly.) Once i confirm it, they pend delivery of the funds to the seller for 2-3 business days, which will be disbursed to his paypal email ( unfortunately that I do not get to know what it was.) As soon as those three days were up, I immediately lost access to the account ( as shown above in the picture. ) This was done by the seller submitting "recovery" information, such as how I have two step authentication on my paypal to verify it's me and if I ever needed to recover my account, I could do so based on my questions/information. He did this for the account, and did not send me the recovery information which is frequently brought up within the discussion shown in pictures above. He was not the original owner, nor did he provide me all information needed to secure the account when it's an agreement you must make when selling your account. The reason I can't take this dispute up with PA, is because they do not accept "offsite" communication as proof of losing the item.


    Thank you for accepting this appeal, I hope you all can realize that I am not disputing for any other reason other than to get my money back since the item I purchased was recovered from me. I have had previous cases with paypal resulting in successful appeals in my favor, I frequently use paypal, and I hope you all can use this evidence to see I am providing nothing but the factual truth. Please do not hold me accountable for something I do not possess.

    I was able to check and unfortunately, your account is now locked so you most likely have decided to pursue the chargeback case. I would talk you out of doing it, but sadly I will no longer be able to reopen the case on this. I'm really sorry for all the hardships you went through with this and as much as I'd like to really help, there's nothing more we could do for this since it's already closed and decided on. :(

    With all due respect, current computer security situation is not promising at all. We have hardware vulnerabilities dating decades not fully patched months after initial reveal, and all kinds of nasty stuff awaiting in the future, since hardware giants like Intel, Nvidia, AMD, Qualcomm and etc. etc. rely on security through obscurity, rather than proper external security audit.

    It would be great if you provide an option to delete all customer information after, say, a year after last transaction. I personally want to sell single account without any problems and headaches (hence I am willing to sell it on your website with middleman service) - and forget about it, forever, without worrying that dishonest buyer initiates a non-delivered request on exactly 179th day since sale, or my personal data being hijacked by hackers a few years later when another major security vulnerability is unveiled and exploited.

    All documents we ask through verification are erased after 2-3 months, but usually no longer than 3 months. However, your personal information cannot be erased, such as address, numbers, etc. because they are permanently stored on our database for posterity. If you'd like to keep your payment option safe, what you can do is remove the payment option on your account once you have decided to no longer use your PlayerAuctions account --- if you're worried about your account being possibly taken over, but of course I assure you this is completely safe since we have data encryption on the site as well as 2FA security on accounts.

    If there's anything else I can help you with regards to your account, just let me know.

    See that’s not the answer I am looking for. You all continuously sent me automated responses via email, no chargeback has been processed. Nor did you all even attempt to contact the seller to get the account recovered and returned to me, AND I had full insurance coverage on the account. So yes there is more that you can do and I’m hoping you figure that out by your next response to me.

    In case you're wondering, that wasn't an automated response though I don't know how I can prove that to you. As for any attempts to contact the seller, I checked and they have; three times, on different time zones/shift. Unfortunately, he didn't reply and we cannot oblige him; he won the dispute and has no responsibility to reply back nor replace the account. In spite of that, I sent a last one just now, and I had to copy the message they sent and tweaked it a bit to make it non-automated (sorry but that is from a different department, so I don't want to mess up their protocol). Buying insurance still requires the buyer to prove his claim; otherwise, anyone can just send in a false report/claim; This is also to make the process fair to the seller, whose payments are all frozen during the dispute.
