Player Auctions - I need Advice - help!

Hi everyone,

I am new to this Forum and it might take me a little while to understand forum rules etc so I hope I'm putting this in the right place, the last thing I want my first post to be incorrectly posted under the wrong foru
m topic!

I'm desperately searching far and wide across the net to find me an OSRS account.
I was told by a friend to try Player Auctions - first impressions, site looks good,
found an account. checked the sellers reviews. looked great. went to buy and this is where its all gone wrong!

So I've currently tried over 10 times to purchase via paypal. only to have constant failures to of payment, (there is money in my account before someone asks haha)so I contact support and tell me to use alt payment method. I try VISA debit.,and surprise it failed..

they keep prompting me to use GoCoin. but I'm old fashioned with this sort of thing and have no idea about Bitcoins.. Paypal and visa is my limit.

there is alot of expert people on this forum that always seem to know whats happening.
I'm really desperate now (Sad I know) I just want to play again like the old days. just my lifestyle prohibits me from finding the time to start all over again!

From my understanding, you're trying to purchase from PA and it's not letting you pay?
What were the error messages? Often VISA or PayPal are your safest bets.

Alternatively, you can try to use the market section here to buy an account.

 

Literally just says that the payments have been refused. And that when i contact support they tell me that I have to use GoCoin or bitcoins.. I have no idea how to use these l.. I've tried visa. PayPal and skrill now and still no luck. I even lost money in transferring over to skrill so it's starting to really become frustrating.

 

Which country are you in, if you don’t mind me asking? Maybe they’re refusing payment depending on your country? Sometimes they do this if a country has a high rate of credit/debit card fraud going consistently. Perhaps that’s also why they’re requesting you use a safer (for them) non refundable payment method such as BTC or GoCoin.

You can try to pay with crypto, it’s generally safe to use. PA has a decent reputation and if the seller is also reputable, then why not go for it?

Also, why not purchase from one of the market section here on Sythe? There are plenty of trusted dudes. Or is there something specific about a specific account on PA that stood out to you?

 

I am in the UK. It's just so weird I've tried 3 payment options and all 3 have failed. I've got enough money in my account to pay for the account.

It's more that I was recommend player auctions. I'm not fully clued up on sythe market. But I'm happy to try.

The biggest issue for me is that I've tried for nearly 3 days. I literally have no idea how to use / purchase or pay with Gocoin..
It keeps asking me for my business information. Which I obviously do not have to provide.

I just don't understand the cryptocurrentcy world at all. It's really demotivating me to carry on.

 

Haha if you don’t can’t use their payment method and don’t want to use crypto, you should just use the market here man. There are plenty of accounts for sale.
