Pins - I've been away

So what's the deal with the decision to ban pin buying/selling?

And is there any way I can do a trade involving my account in return for membership on another account?

Pin selling has been banned because most of them are illegally obtained, and sythe can have problems with Jagex as he is allowing illegal items on his website.

Although now they are called "upgrades" and you give your account name and password to the upgrade sellers. They put the membership on for you.

Also yes you can do a trade for your account in return for membership.

Just read the stickies in the account upgrade section. And yes it's because obviously pins that are cheaper than normal they are obtained in an illegal way.
