Just coming back into the game after almost two years, have some pking questions

Just wanna know what's changed, I left off around when claws and AGS were dominant, is that still pretty much it or is there a bunch of new stuff?
Also, is combo eating still around? Last I was on it was just gnome food left.
I want to get back into the game, any help would be very much appreciated.

 

Pking hasn't really changed, claws and AGS are still primary spec weapons for a lot of people, not very many new weapons have been released as far as melee pking goes. However, a new staff, the polypore staff has been released and it's a really overpowered magic staff that hits like 500s and costs 1m.

As far as combo eating goes, shark/rocktail + brew is the only real combo around, unless you toss in pizza/pie + rocktail/shark or something along those lines.

There's also a new combat rework that's going to be released sometime soon. There's a topic on Sythe about it that includes some info and I'll go grab that for you in a sec.
